We've been seeing Dr. Fischer in the Parker Costco for years. He has always been professional and courteous, and generally runs on schedule.

From start to finish I always feel welcomed and valued with Dr. Fischer. He stays true to his schedule and was even willing to accommodate me when I arrived early. As we began he discussed each test and what the results would show, easing … More

First appt with Dr. Fischer yesterday. He was punctual. Enaging. Explained the tests he was performing in detail. Provided solid recommendations for my personal situation. It was nice that he took care of me from start to finish - made the appointment efficient and personal. I found him very kind and extremely professional. I will definitely be going back!

A few years ago he took walk-ins and was helpful. Now his manner has seriously deteriorated; he will ridicule for even suggesting that he took walk-ins, and if you want a child appointment he'd prefer you take "it" elsewhere.

Won't be coming back after another rushed service. It seems like Dr Fischer wants to do the minimum for you and charge the same as better services, which my brother who also recently saw Dr Fischer agreed with.
When I asked him to go back a slide one more time to make sure I chose the better option, he just moved on without saying anything. He also didn't try to have any discussion to help me understand what's going on with my eyes, my options, what to expect in the future, anything. He just wants you in and out as quick and easy (for him) as possible and might let the quality of service suffer.
It's not the worst, but you could absolutely get better service for the same price elsewhere.

Bedside, or chair side manner has a lot to be desired. Learning to not treat people as just another number. He may be a decent OD but moving forward we will try another Costco.
Let me add his receptionist is a grumpy women also.

Awesome optometrist! Really listens and uses awesome technology to help you get the best vision possible!

In my estimation, reviews reflective of negative experiences come from parents who are unwilling to recognize that others are not responsible for the poor behavior of their delinquent children.

Terrible bedside manner. Was extremely rude to my son who is 5 years old and my daughter who is 3. My children were being children. My son looked at a clock, went to touch it and before I could even say a word he snapped at him. My son was near tears. Clearly he does not like children and if that’s the case he should be working in his own private practice. I made the comment ‘should’ve gotten a sitter’ to which he scoffed at. It was clear he was very perturbed. Seeing from another review this isn’t his first outburst at a child. Some of us don’t have the option to have a sitter at any given moment and I shouldn’t be made to feel like a burden nor should my children so long as they aren’t being disrespectful. The receptionist was wonderful, so I was totally caught off guard.

Quick, Efficient, and reasonably priced ($129 at the time of this writing for a contact eye exam which includes a retinal scan). I was a new customer and I was in and out in under 20 minutes. Ill be definitely be coming back for when I need … More

This doctor is very rude and unprofessional, and apparently believed that he was doing me a favor for having him give me services.I went for an appointment with this doctor on 3/18/2016 with my 5 year old son at the Costco in Parker, CO.
When we entered the examination room my son sat on the small office chair that's was located by the computer. This monster Dr.Fischer entered the room one minute later. Barked at my son to "get up kid I need to be there". As my son proceeded to get up, he pulled the chair from under him and my son fell flat on the floor and almost hit his head.
This abusive beast, did not even apologize for his actions. And just proceeded with exam. I had to check my son.
I was so surprised! This man is a jerk. And both my husband and I are following up with this. He doesn't even deserve one star.

I was early for my appointment and was seen a few minutes early. The optometrist was through, used newer technology and really listened. Instead of upselling me to bifocal, he right suggested I wait as long as possible before moving to that option. I had a previous prescription from elsewhere and had never felt it was accurate. He showed me the difference between my prior prescription, no correction, and my new prescription. The difference was staggering. I don't need a ton of correction, but the prior prescription was worse than no prescription at all, and the new prescription an obvious improvement. His practice seamlessly fits into the optometry department at Costco, though it is a separate business.

Most unprofessional and rude person we’ve ever encountered. He called our son a “chicken” during his eye exam.

Mark has taken care of my family for a number of years now. From my kids first glasses to my recent readers. I trust Mark and love the location within CostCo.
