Flint Optical was opened in 1965 by Julie Pejakovich and later moved to its current location at 518 S. Saginaw. William Pierce, ABOC, took over as owner in 2007 and updated the frame and lens styles. Staff optometrist Dr. Francis Stone has provided primary eye care at the clinic since 1985.

Great staff, friendly & very knowledgeable. From last minute adjustments to lens falling out to making an appointment within a reasonable timeframe, this place makes it easy! The only place I will go for my eye care!!!

Our experience was amazing. The compassion and kindness we got from each staff member was nothing short of amazing. I love Dr. Purdy , she was so sweet and patient with my 6 y/o who was pretty nervous. Great family atmosphere. 10/10

This place and the employees are amazing!! I actually had a panic attack inside of their office and they helped me so much! They said such kind things to me, gave me water, allowed me to sit down and collect myself, somebody was there with me the whole time. The eye exam itself was very thorough and I was pleased with the doctor. They were very informative and friendly, they helped me pick out a better pair of glasses than the ones I picked myself (lmao) and I am so happy with them!! They look so nice and I can see so much better!! Thank you Flint Optical!
