I appreciated being seen as a new patient with a problem before we were leaving for vacation. I was greeted by a friendly receptionist & then met with the assistant who went over my information & was also friendly. Not long after I met with Dr. Consbruck who examined my eye & explained what was going on then went over her suggestions of care before I leave for vacation. I was given written instructions as well. I was very pleased with my entire visit.

The actual office visit services were excellent. However, the day I made the appointment, I was a bit concerned. Initially, the registration/scheduling person told me I didn’t need an appointment, since the problems I was experiencing (floaters) were typically due to aging (I’m 73). Then, a technician who was standing nearby interrupted, saying I did need an examination. The recent appearance of floaters should be seen within a week. When the registration/scheduling person was checking the schedule for openings, she seemed irritated that I already had two doctors appointments on the first day she suggested (sighing). Then, she found another day the next day over a weekend that worked for me. It’s possible that she had a long, stressful day and I came in late afternoon. Everyone has an occasional bad day. Conversely, the day I came in for my appointment, she was very pleasant and polite, so no complaints there. Excellent service. I’ve been a patient of FL Eye Associates for 6 years and will continue to go to them for eye health.
