Great yearly visit yesterday. Office must have worked very hard to fix their scheduling issues from the past as there were visits that took close to 3 hours to finally leave the office. Yesterday, I was done in an hour with a very comprehensive exam. Everyone in the office was friendly and helpful. I just love Dr Shumake ❤️ I have been seeing him for years and I hope he doesn't have any plans to retire soon!

Florida Eye Institute is top notch in my book. Everyone, from check in, to the conclusion of my appointment, is professional, compassionate and truly interested in the patients' well-being. My first cataract procedure was a "piece of cake" and I'm looking forward to the second one.

I was immediately checked in on arrival, and was called to the back for my 2 weeks post surgery appointment.
I had Cataracts removed. I was so happy that I got my left eye done, excellent 20/20 results. Thank you Dr Shumake. I’m recommending my husband soon. All the Staff at Florida Eye Institute are so friendly and offer an homely environment… Shout out to Heather, your smile is contagious.
