Brought my mom in for an eye exam with Dr Smith at the Clovis location. Dr Smith, Ben, Mariana and the rest of the staff was very kind and professional. Jocelyn was the optician that helped my mom with getting new pair of glasses. She was very patient and even recommended a few frames for my mom to try out.

Overall a good experience. Receptionist Aris was the only exception. Seems like she’d rather be somewhere else other than work. Should be more pleasant to new patients with questions.

Took my son in for concerns regarding his eyes and I was in and out in a timely manner. Everyone was kind and they are great with kids. I really love how Stephanie and the doctor communicated with my 6 year old and how everything was explained to the both of us. Definitely worthy of 5 stars.

Great service. The team was friendly. I can't remember the name of the girl who helped me maybe Jocelyn but she was great! The staff was sweet and patient with me as I decided what pair I wanted.

I called the Clovis number when I made my appointment with a specific doctor because the location was better for me. Whoever I spoke to failed to tell me that I would be seen at a different location—something I learned when I tried to check in at the Clovis office.
Whoever manages Fogg Remington’s front desk employees needs to address this so no one else is inconvenienced.
Whoever manages your Google listings needs to take “ophthalmologist” off the Clovis listing. I called the Clovis office to see an ophthalmologist—and this is where the employee’s failure to communicate caused problems.
Meanwhile, I will go elsewhere.

Condescending and rude. Dr. Fogg insisted on treating my dry eye with cheap and easy over the counter drops. Avoid Dr. Christensen, OD. He gas lighted me and I reported his disrespectful behavior. No wonder why they always have a chaperone present.

Office is small and very clean. Staff is professional and the doctor was very patient and soft spoken. I was able to pick my child's frames the same day, 10/10 experience.

Do not go there for eyeglass. I paid almost $1500 for a glass and I can't use it. Its blurry. Now they are asking anothre $1000 for revision. I took my whole family there for eye care and this is what I got.

Man...I'm going to miss this place! Dr. Smith was a cool-kat...And funny. Unfortunately, they have a policy that you can only schedule yourself and ONE family member for same-day/time appointments. What if you're an American Patriot that …

You should not have to wait 45 min to just pick up glasses or contacts. Need a person responsible for overseeing needs. Took less than 5 min when getting contacts after waiting.

I have never had such a horrible customer service experience. They are rude and condescending. I would discourage anyone from using this business.

Office lied and told me my insurance would not cover broken frames. They said If I were to use insurance, I would not be eligible for a new exam or frames the following year. Had to pay out of pocket. Called insurance after I paid, because it didnt feel right. Insurance let me know that was a ridiculous lie. I should have never had to pay out of pocket, insurance covered 100% off the broken frame. It didnt matter if I would have used insurance, because I would still be eligible for exam and frames this year. I had to demand a full refund. Lost my trust. Very shady, they are pocketing the money. Will never go back

In and out to gt my prescription glasses... unfortunately the company decided to close their location on 1st Street, closest to the Tower District. I had to drive all the way to Clovis, butvthe upside is that it is a much better building and I did not see the receptionist who refused to give me an appointment even though I was standing in front of her; she stated I had to call and make an appointment. I don't know if I will recommend this place as it is not really convenient for me but the good thing is that I only have to go once a year.

Appointment, exam and help to select a pair of glasses was great. I picked up my glasses yesterday I tried them on and they were fine.
However, when I got home I realized that I didn’t receive a small cloth to wipe my lenses. This morning my son stopped in on his way to school to request a cloth and or some wipes for my lenses and was told that my insurance doesn’t cover those items. I have calviva insurance and appreciate and am thankful for it.
But Honestly, no lens care cloth or wipes for my new glasses?

If I can give no stars I would. They’re sneaky and incompetent. Made an appt he checked insurance. Went for appt they said oh sorry we can’t see your daughter as insurance won’t cover. Asked how much it would be since we’re there and she wants contacts. Lady says $130. We say okay let’s proceed. Then we check out it’s $325! How did it go from 130 to 325 and no one explained it to us during or before appt. Just said “oh sorry”
editing post as Stephane the manager took care of us and they made things right. The Dr was really thorough too. Would go back

First, I would like to Thank, Dr. Brian Christensen for his excellent care, knowledge, and kindness. Thank you for taking care of our whole family.
Yesterday, I went to the Clovis office to order my glasses. Caroline always has a smile while greeting patients. I remember her from the Herndon office. I was happy to see her at the Clovis office. She makes our visits enjoyable.
Thank you Jocelyn for helping me order my new pair of glasses. You were very knowledgeable, personable, and fun to work with. I will always request you in the future. Thank you to the Fogg Remington Care Team!!!
Forever grateful,
Jill Nakamura

Shout out to Rosie. So kind, easy, and nice. Was able to help me break down what my insurance would cover. Sucks that my insurance only covered it once a year. But glad to come back again next year for a new frame. Also Dr. Sinquin for supporting in making sure I get the recommendations needed.

I have mixed thoughts about this place. The makeover is indeed gorgeous, and the overall atmosphere is much improved. When I was helped by someone new, I felt she might have needed a bit more training before working on her own. That wasn’t a big problem, though.
I was waiting for my glasses and finally saw a text from April—yes, it was June when I picked them up, so that was my oversight. However, I never received any follow-up call or text, which was disappointing.
Later, I needed to readjust my glasses because the bifocal was too high. The lady who helped me then was rude, frequently cutting me off and disregarding my prescription for progressive lenses. I was told they could do progressives and remove the bifocal if needed, but instead, my glasses were made into single vision, so now I only have glasses to see up close.
When I mentioned that the girl who helped me initially was new, the staff member cut me off, saying she had been there forever. I know this wasn’t true because the girl herself told me she was new. I wasn't trying to be rude nor I did I use a sarcastic tone( which was what I received while I was being cut off along with an eye roll ). I was suggesting that inexperience may have been the reason the bifocal was low. Lets keep in mind I am 55 and I always keep a smile on my face. (we never know how someone else's day is going )
To be clear, everyone else in the office was kind, helpful, and professional. But because of this one negative experience, my personal rating for the whole office dropped two stars. Im updating my review , I was contacted by Jennifer the manager to the office and she will address my issues with the staff member. I am confident that this will not happen to anyone else in the future. I appreciate the quick response and kind words .

I came to the Fowler/Shaw location. Relatively fast service. Everyone was extremely professional while maintaining a demeanor that encouraged open and easy communication. Im not the sharpest tool in the shed so I asked a lot of questions. Everyone was extremely patient with me, took the time with me that I needed, and made me feel like I had known them for a very long time. I enjoy coming here and will continue to be their patient. They are quick, efficient, and professional.
