Dr. Epstein is a great doctor I love the trait of my surgery, but the waiting is too long. Last appointment I had to wait over one hour to be seen by the doctor. I went to the front office and said “I believed they forgot about me”. I was told to wait that they would call me shortly. After a few minutes I was called and had to wait more inside the room. The lady who called me told me not in a nice way that I signed a disclaimed saying that with this doctor the appointment runs late, which I understand if it is 20 minutes-30 minutes waiting, but not over 1hour, and this is all about how you say things. She was not polite at all….
Dr. Villate is very nice, but I will not be returning. Every visit over the last almost 2 years I've had to wait longer and longer. If the front staff could let you know to expect that long of a wait, I wouldn't mind as much, but they just tell you too have a seat and you will be called shortly. The staff doesn't seem to care about how behind they are.
If they are running this late this often, maybe they should not book so many appointments in the day.
Dr Vilatte is the BEST! She's always going above and beyond, and seems to really care for her patients. Sadly she was out of the office the week following my surgery, and there was no one to handle her patients. I called Thursday with some complications, at 9am.
At 11am a gal called and took my information, stating someone would contact me. No one has called. So apparently, my concerns, are anything, and waiting until Monday is fine. I sure do miss the care I used to get in MN and WI....this would never happen. Now...we worry all weekend until Monday, because I simply do not know if this 'Normal'
I'm on a fixed income, do they pay for a visit to ER if I feel it becomes an emergency??? If my vision is completely ruined, do THEY compensate me for it?
Frustrating !
