I wanted to leave a review, which I never do, to express my thanks to Dr. Yang for helping me decide on which frames to buy. I was able to get my eyes examined for contacts, and glasses in less than an hr. Thank you for your patience.

Professional eye doctor with friendly staffs. Recommend to all!

I strongly advise against visiting this store. They sell outdated designer glasses at exorbitant prices. For instance, they marked my son's frames at $380, then reduced the price to $260. This didn't even include the cost of the lenses! When I got home and researched the frames online, I found them listed for just $60. To make matters worse, the woman working there was incredibly rude. It was a terrible experience overall

I am surprised by all the negative reviews. I’ve been getting my eye exams and glasses here for years now and never had a negative experience. Yes it’s a small store and sometimes you have to wait a little bit at times when the store gets busy but I don’t mind. The optometrist there is kind and attentive.

worst customer service ever. Asked something regarding my insurance and totally looked down at me saying that my insurance is for the people with the low income.

Is giving no star an option? Because one star really is too gracious to give them. First of all, they only accept private insurance as they repeatedly (at least 5 times) asked me when I gave them my insurance information. The clerks are incompetent and cannot read the insurance policies efficiently. They had to talk to each other for quite some time to figure them out. Also, they are inattentive and unhelpful in picking out the frames. They also were unprepared when I went to pick up the glasses. They also had the wrong name down when I provided an insurance card with my name printed There are plenty of places to go nearby. Please save your time and money by avoiding this place.

Worst costumer service ever!! Didn't show me any glasses i wanted and kept taking to other people. Didn't get any help and left. Very frustrating and wouldn’t recommend!

Be careful of these people. They do not follow the law and insurance regulations and practice balance billing even though they are in-network with VSP and Eyemed. If they're in-network they have to honor the insurance rate and not charge you extra but they end up charging $150-200 more since they did not get the whole amount for something like eye exams from the insurance (when they're not supposed to). I am getting regulators involved at the moment.

charged my mom $800 for cheapest glasses because she paid with medicare this place is just gross ,hope they can help elders not max out elders money or insurance money what a scammm

It's okay just for basic glasses. I 'd had a bad feeling when I asked the old man from back room. He always says he is right and make his own decision but doesn't want to listen their customer ever. Endless talk back from that guy... Okay. But where is my vison then ?

this store sell cheap lens and frame for the highest price! also the optical technician(owner?) never try to understand customer's complaining.

I’ve been going to French Optical for years and I’ve always been treated with professionalism and kindness, especially from the optometrist. The doctor has always given me the best eye exams and has prescribed me comfortable doses for my glasses and contacts. Previously at other opticals, they would prescribe inaccurate prescription eye doses and I’d get frequent headaches but in my many years here, I’ve never had any issues. Service here is always excellent and I always feel like I’m well taken care of! Definitely recommend this optical to all my friends and family!

My mother had a reservation for 12:00PM and they disregarded it, my mom was 5/5 upset

I’ve been seeing Dr. Yang for over 20 years, and even though I have moved abroad and to different cities, I always come back for my appointments. My brothers and I have all been her patients, and she has always been very kind, patient, and knowledgeable. She takes the time to explain everything about eye health, glasses, and contact lenses in a way that makes you feel comfortable and cared for. Her office is always accommodating with scheduling, and I’ve never felt rushed during an appointment. It’s clear she cares about her patients, and that makes all the difference. I’m so grateful for her expertise and her warmth. Highly recommend!

Awful service.. actually.. no service.. Staff didn't care for the customers at all.. Felt like they don't want you in the store

Very rude and looks like they don't want to deal with customer. Erogant customer service manner. Selling cheap glasses charging very high. No knowlege about prescription glasses. Just decide whatever they think right. Ended up not using that glass anymore. Overall NEVER BUY FROM HERE.

Solid experience here to get new lenses for my glasses. The doctor and staff were friendly and helpful despite it being pretty busy. I was a little bit confused by the negative reviews but the place is low key and easy.

Came here for contacts and the doctor wanted to check my glasses (which I purchased elsewhere) - and ended up ruining them. She's a nice lady, but I told her they weren't from here but she was being super nosy anyway. Has been causing strain on my eyes/headaches since - so I'd caution not to be pressured into doing something you are not comfortable with when coming to this eyewear store - especially when it is irrelevant to your visit and if they were purchased elsewhere.

I have been going here for several years now and I love the store and doctor. They are very honest and always try to give their best suggestions. I went to pearl vision before I had found this place and I realized they don't take anything into consideration before giving new doses for contact lens. The doctor at French optical took into consideration all my every day schedules and suggested that I dont skip 2 full doses as pearl vision suggested. Also they have parking in the back and a cute cafe to stop by while you wait.

Personally, I have only had great experiences with that store. My glasses are done well, the staff is extremely friendly, the prices are good. They listen to all the questions I might have about my vision, lenses, and glasses. It's a quiet and cozy store. I don't understand why the store has such bad reviews when it's always packed when I go there and I have never experienced any kind of rude behavior from anyone. Overall, I would recommend this store to family and friends. God bless!!! ^^
