I had cataract surgery and a few months later I needed a laser surgery to clear my vision. My right eye was never right. After YAG Lazer, I still couldn’t see well. I was told by Dr Tanner that “the only thing that will help you see is to get younger.” I have gone to Dr. Chen at Virginia Eye Associates and he did another YAG laser treatment and my vision is a lot better.

I had excellent evaluation and treatment by Dr. Tanner, including surgery on both eyes, with excellent results and excellent improvement of my vision. (I have worn strong glasses for more than 65 years and now I need them only a little or not at all, depending on circumstances.) I chose Dr. Tanner because I am a retired physician and I checked his credentials and reputation. He and I received specialty training and experience in some of the same medical institutions. He was recommended by other patient and doctors. Five stars.

I have found Dr. Tanner to be an excellent clinician and surgeon who I entrusted to do my cataract surgery. I was not disappointed with the wonderful results. I have worked with him, in the past, and can attest to his honesty and good judgement. As a retired ophthalmologist with thirty five years of having my own practice I can without hesitation recommend Dr. Tanner.
