I can’t speak highly enough of Dr. Geiss Jr and the entire staff at Eye Associates of CNY. I sustained a traumatic cornea injury over the weekend and was scheduled to follow up at a general Ophthalmology clinic on Monday but really preferred to see a cornea specialist. I called Dr. Geiss’ office and explained the situation and, despite the fact that I wasn’t an established patient, they told me they would be happy to see me and to come right in. I have had daily follow-ups all week and every time I go the staff welcomes me by name without having to check my chart. Dr Geiss spends ample time during each visit explaining his findings and what the next steps will be. They’re also considerate of your time and encourage you to call ahead of your appointment to see if the doctor is running behind, in which case they tell you to come at a later time so you aren’t stuck waiting. Though I would rather not have had this injury in the first place, I will say that going to Dr Geiss’ office and being treated so kindly all week has made the healing process so much easier Thank you Eye Associates of CNY!

Both Drs Geiss are wonderful docs, friendly and thorough. However they schedule appointments too close to one another. My appointment was at 11:00 today and I am not only still in the waiting room, but there is another patient waiting before me, his appointment was at 10:15. It is now 12:30. It will be 2:00 or later before I am seen. I will be going to another ophthalmologist.

Dr. Geiss is an exceptional doctor/surgeon. He is so thorough and who really cares about his patients. I would recommend him to anyone needing help with their eyes.
