Glenbrook Eyecare is not where G.Maps says it is. It is now part of Lenscrafters, Next to the area of Bob's Furniture. Behind Chick-fil-A looking towards the mall. You can't miss it. I didn't think to take a picture was to busy looking for another Eyecare that takes Medicare. Medicare only pays for exam depending on what Advantage plan you have. Nice friendly people. Nothing to indicate that they have bought out Glenbrook Eyecare or what ever the circumstances are. I had to learn this from Pearl Vision.

The Eye care itself is fantastic. The front desk staff not fantastic. Quite horrible really. They will answer the phone not let you speak and just put you on hold. Keep you on hold for 23 minutes until you give up and hang up. All I needed was a receipt and truly could have quickly given my email address and have them email it to when they have time. I understand being overworked and understaffed but 23 minutes on hold and I truly wish I was over exaggerating but I'm not. It made me feel completely unimportant so my husband and I will not be back again. There are plenty of eye care professionals out there with staff who do not make you feel inconsequential.

I was very disappointed in the care I received. The exam was okay, except for the staff being a bit rude. I placed an order for contact lenses at my appointment on Wednesday. I was told twice that the order would be submitted on Saturday and that they take 7-10 days to arrive. I called in today to find that they weren't ordered until 4 days later than they should have and reminded that they will take 7-10 days to arrive. I impressed upon the staff after my appointment that I wanted to get my contacts as soon as possible so I can stop wearing my very uncomfortable glasses. I offered to pay extra out of pocket to expedite shipping. 16 days later, I still have no contacts and no estimate on when they will arrive. Go to Eyeglass World. They usually have a lot more options in stock and they've always delivered much more quickly than this.
