Glendora Optometry is a full-scope primary eye care office in Glendora, California, formerly known as Glendora Vision Center. The practice has operated at the same location for over 50 years, beginning with Dr. Sulliman in the early 1970s and later led by Dr. Randy Burt for more than 30 years before Dr. Cecilia Wong took over. The office includes an in-house finishing lab for prescriptions, treats conditions such as red eyes, infections, glaucoma, and mild trauma, and hosts a retinal surgeon on a regular basis. Dr. Silva-Said joined the practice in May 2021 as an associate optometrist.

I've been a client of this location for over 20yrs. Always friendly staff and doctors. I never thought anyone could match the knowledge, courtesy, and professionalism of Dr. Randy Burt, now retired after many years there.
I'm now being seen by Dr. Silva-Said for the last few years. Let me tell you, she is every bit of outstanding that Dr. Burt was.
About a year ago we saw something in my eye exam that needed to be relayed to my primary MD. Everything is OK with my eyes today, but I cannot forget the exceptional level of care I received from Dr. Silva-Said and staff.
She checked in on me during the process and followed up with my MD that received the notes, exam, etc. It was unexpected, especially in today's world where healthcare members can seem as just a number.
I think back on my experience and realize I felt more like a family member rather than just a client. Highly competent, professional, and knowledgeable herself, Dr. Silva-Said comforted me through a scary experience every step of the way. You don't get that just anywhere, but you do here. I hope she never moves or retires!

I was recommended to Dr. Silva and so glad I saw her because it was such a great experience! She really is so kind and knowledgeable not to mention great at what she does! I’ve been wearing glasses for 30yrs now so I’ve definitely seen my share of doctors. Dr. Silva was so thorough and took the time to help me figure out some new issues I was experiencing. She made sure to explain things and even gave me different options to try. I will definitely be coming back! The office staff was great too and honestly treated us like family.

This post is long overdue. I have been coming here for the last two and half years. The staff are very professional and caring. Marty retired late last year and she was awesome. They are honest and tells you what you need not trying to sell you more. Dr. Silva and Marie are also very good. The glasses are a little on the expensive side for me but it balances out with the great service. Support local business!
