The new eye doctor was great and made me feel welcome. The glasses that insurance cover isn't too good cause they break easy, but the designer glasses seem to be more sturdy

Went there like 3 months ago for my three-year-old daughter to get glasses, they called and told me her glasses are ready when I have time to go update which was three days later they will close sign saying that it was a covid exposure and they will be open with in a couple weeks , it's been 2 months now and I've been calling and calling and calling no answer what type of business is this and y'all have my daughter glasses. Her eyeglasses were paid for and all through her father's insurance through his job like how do y'all even call yourself a business this is terrible terrible terrible terrible terrible and the eye doctor is rude

I was seen at Global Vision Center on October 12, 2022 to get my annual exam and glasses. I figured it needed to start wearing glasses now due to constant headaches/migraines I have started suffering from. I have been satisfied until my most recent experience last month (October 2022). I was seen and told I needed glasses. I said ok, then I went ahead and paid to have glare reduction & tint added and was told that they would be ready within 10 business days. The total, along with my script for a total of $143. I have not received an update so decided to call... after the 12 day mark. At first the voicemail stated they were closed due to covid for a week, with no real date as to when they would return. I let the week go by, still no update. I decided to call again, this time with NO voicemail message, just rang and rang and went to a FULL Voicemail Box. Now obviously frustrated, I decided to go by the office. Of course, the office is closed, no lights on but I can visibly see 2 people in the office packing boxes; Dr Kitterman and an elder lady. Dr Kitterman, hesitant to come over and talk to me, eventually came over and explained that he was leaving the practice due to the lack of communication. He pretty much has no idea of what is going on with the owner Mr. Kevin A Smith, ABOC. Dr Kitterman, is truly a nice Dr who is very professional and knowledgeable. I enjoyed him being my Dr. My only gripe is that he could not give me my glasses or any info as to if they were at the store from being tinted or another copy of my script so I could get my glasses elsewhere. Upon looking at my claim information online, the claim is wrong. I was not seen by whomever Valerie Smith is. I have never met her. The two times I have been serviced here, Dr Kitterman administered my exam. My frustration is with Mr. Kevin. This is totally unprofessional and wrong. So in my search to find answers I have decided to dispute the claim on my insurance company as well as my bank so that I may go elsewhere to get my eyes re-examined and my glasses made.
