Being back after being way a few years, receptionist was super sweet as always and assisted with me rescheduling and ordering my contacts. She always makes it feel like home. My family goes to this office as well…. They have been there more often than I have and the care they provide is always exceptional.

Been going here for years. The staff, the doctor are all very personable & professional. Great selection of frames. Clean, neat & organized.

My family has used Dr. Bass for years and we wouldn’t go anywhere else. The staff is very helpful. Kim has gone out of her way to help me at every visit. They are professional and kind and care for our needs. Thank you so much.

UPDATE ALREADY.... I WAS ASKING HOW THEY POSSIBLY GOT A 4.9 RATING. On yelp 3.7. Thats a little more like it. RUDE, I dont know how this place got a 4.9. I made my decision not to go here on a first phone call. Im new to the area. So I'm looking to find a optometrist. I ask her before I make an appointment do you mind if I ask a couple questions? 1st ? Do you carry Nike frames? Yes - ok good 2nd I have a pair brand new Oakley 5 squared sunglasses that I want prescription sunglasses lenses. Put in my frames do you do that. Answer - if they were originally sunglasses you have to semd them to Oakley. (lie) Last question, I have spoken you take that - yes I saw what one Ali had earlier but didn't remember. So I ask how much for an eye exam. In a rude tone it says your copay on your insurance. (This lady had a attuned the entire time, but now its getting worse) she starts interrupting me when I started to ask anything. So I tell her the reason I'm asking these questions is because I see that prices varies, Witch i thought was normal. I tell her a couple months ago I was looking for new lenses for my sunglasses and the highest I was quoted for lenses $800. Interrupted me again says thats about right. Can I finish? And the best price was $350. Interrupted me again well it depends on what your getting. I was trying to tell you what it was. They were both the same at different stores. 80% dark polarized, progressive with no. Interrupted again . There bifocal with a line or no line. I was literally just about to say line because I already said no. So I made it ease for the both of us. So if you even did it. You would also be in the $800 range? I dont even know what she said. Ok bye and hung up. Who did they pay to get a 4.9? This is the 1st time I've ever been talked to like that. It's my eyes hello. Im not going to flip a coin to decide where I'm getting glasses.

They deleted my bad review so here’s another. They forgot to put transition on my glasses so I had to wait more weeks, receptionist just said “ oh they forgot” and got upset with ME when I got upset lol she sent me to the other two women there to deal with, they checked my insurance again, said I’m covered so proceeded to tell me “two more weeks or so” no apologies, nothing. They used to be excellent and now they act like they don’t need your business if there’s an inconvenience to them . I won’t be getting my glasses here in the future and no, I don’t recommend them anymore .

GO HERE! The girls were SO nice and went above to help me with a referral. The selection of Medi-cal available frames was plentiful, imo. (I had to narrow it down from 4). Starbucks next door, food next door - it's in a great area for pre or post appointment errands too.

Dr Bass and Kim were extremely thorough and explained all the options. It was great to see that nothing had changed since the last I saw them 12 years ago(been in Montana and Georgia for 12 years). Still the same great service!

The staff is friendly and attentive to every patient. The doctor took the time to listen to everything that I shared and was very patient as I looked up my list of eye drops. Norma was extremely patient while i decided on a frame and beyond helpful in answering all of my questions.

I’m so grateful for the care we received at Golden west Optometry. Taking a 5 year old to the optometrist can sometimes feel overwhelming, but the entire staff was beyond kind and patient. They made my daughter feel comfortable, explained everything in a way she could understand, and created such a welcoming environment. They truly exceeded my expectations. We will definitely be coming back!

Amazing place, everyone is always happy to help in choosing frames and lenses, or with billing and appointments. Dr. Bass is the best; he has been our optometrist for over 23 years and we love his manner, professionalism, and up-to-date knowledge.

I've been going here for over 15 years and have always had great experience. The whole team is awesome and they really take care of you and all of your needs.

Love my all my frames, Norma is great helping choose the frames only place I trust to go doctors take the time with you. In the way home yesterday I call my sister you need to go to my eye doctor; I been going there for 10 years. Thank you
