I went here because my husband had gone to Bloomington Eyecare and then they merged with Cohen. The first thing that was not great, was when I made the appointment on the phone, the person I spoke with said they would send me paperwork in the mail so I could have it done ahead of time. They didn't. When I showed up for the appointment, the receptionist was not very friendly. The appointment itself took 2 hours, which is way too long in my opinion. They charge you $114 just to fit you for contacts, which is a bogus charge. That should be included in the eye exam since most people are there to either get contacts or glasses. Also, they have a new patient fee! Most places give new patients discounts to encourage you go give them your business, they don't penalize you for it. And last but not least, I was forced to go for a follow-up even though I have been wearing the same contacts for several years and have had no issues. The doctor said because she has not seen them on me herself, she needed me to come back so she could look at them. I have 2 kids and when I have an appointment that means my husband has to take off work to stay home. So it had better be a very good reason if I'm going to come back for a follow-up. Not to mention, the doctor was completely booked so I had 1 choice of a date/time. I will not go back there again.
