Everything went well. Doctor was very pleasant and took really good care of me and explained everything so I understood what needed to be done

Had a very short wait for my appointment. Doctor and staff were attentive and very friendly. Office wasn’t real big - felt comfortable! Will definitely go back to this location for future visits

Dr. is always thorough, knowledgeable & friendly. Takes time to answer any questions. My son & I have been coming here for years. They have been readily available when repairs needed & take care of things quickly. Highly recommend.

Doc Mary good at explaining the. Symptoms.. checkin was quick.. but the wait time for the doctor was too much. With not much patient.. suggestion to speed up the process

I had the most thorough eye exam that I've had in my life yesterday. Robin and Dr. Merryfield are first rate. Elise, the "receptionist," was also great in explaining my options for glasses. Waited over an hour for a scheduled eye exam. The office took a walk in appt ahead of me. Staff came out to explain the wait would be long and suggested rescheduling. The chairs are very hard and uncomfortable. Avoid this location if you have a bad back.

I have had a very good experience with optim eyes, Southfield. I had an initial appointment and I was prescribed with the glasses however I started having headaches with the glasses for almost 3 months. I visited the clinic again, they did a recheck and prescribed new glasses and it got delivered to me in Shelby Township. All the services were free of cost. Thank you Optim eyes South Field as well as Shelby Township for the coordination and support.

Excellent eye exam, very professional and thorough. Dr. O was very patient and answered all my questions. The cozy, smaller setting makes it feel very personal, and the care is outstanding. Alex was a terrific help, the entire staff is friendly and takes their time. So nice to find a place like this!

For the last couple of years, Optimeyes quality (Lakeside office) went down, so I wanted to try Shelby Township office. What a mistake, that optometrist was so much off, jumping from one prescription to other, let me try this, let me go back to your existing prescription, let me try bit stronger, let me try bit lighter prescription. At the end, the prescription I got, have no idea if it will be worth getting new glasses or not.

The Tech Robin is very nice and can answer my questions about what she is doing. Sweet and kind with a nice smile. The doctor is also really nice and knowledgeable and can tell she really enjoys helping customers concerns and answers with professionalism. I look forward to my visits ever year.

I could write a lot about how awful this place is. I’m mostly embarrassed I’ve referred a lot of my family and friends here, and they’ve been treated horribly. My first few visits (2019 ish) were great but it went down hill. I bought myself glasses and sun glasses. I also bought insurance protection and when I wanted to use the insurance I was denied. I was told I couldn’t use the “insurance” my glasses were not lost and the frames were fine. My last few visits felt very negative. It seems like everyone just hates their job and is very annoyed. The selection of glasses is very limited. I was told to go to the hall road location to get frames for my son. I definitely would not take a kid here. It’s very unfriendly and stale.

Dr. Merryfield has been taking amazing care of my vision/eye health for many years! She is prompt, thorough, patient and helpful. The office is neat, clean and well run. I highly recommend Dr. Merryfield!

All staff was kind, chipper, and polite, dispite me being the first appointment of the day. The doctor was quick but thorough, and I feel more confident in this prescription than some past ones from other doctors.

My experience was great. I had issues with my insurance and they were able to get that resolved for me - Amazing! Everyone is professional, helpful and knowledgeable. They made me feel comfortable. Dr. Merryfield was very knowledgeable and noticed I had dry eye and gave me over the counter recommendations which helped. I will be going back for contacts in a month.

The staff is very efficient and friendly. Dr. Olson has treated me for years now, and he is always very clear in explaining the results of my exam. I have complete confidence in his expertise and recommendations.

The dr was very knowledgeable and nice. The lady that checked me in and did some of the pre tests before seeing the Dr was extremely unfriendly and rude as well as one of the ladies that helps you pick out glasses. They were not busy so there was no excuse for their behavior.

Staff is very pleasant and helpful. I was seen within 5 minutes of my appointment time. No pressure to buy anything. Doctor was very good at his job. I will go back.

My wife and I have both had a very good experience at this location. The Dr. is very complete and thorough in her examination and informative. The optician was kind, knowledgeable and very helpful with assisting my wife in selecting her glasses. The glasses are PERFECT and the prescription is right on. We will both be back for certain!!

Receptionist is rude and angry .. she treated us like we are begging for service. Tried to check for prices for lenses the lady was helpful but she looked at us and was surprised that I want to get 2 pairs ?? Insurance only pays for one !! She looked down at us .. and she was skeptics that we can afford to buy glasses there .. she did not realise that we are in the medical field and own a business . Customer service is top priority for any business and these 2 ladies do not want to work … I only went there because I was affiliated with Henry Ford and love my hospital .. one star is too high .. need to teach their employees how to be nice to customers

Everyone at this location is amazing! From check in to check out! All so friendly, welcoming, and professional. Dr. Merryfield is great. She is so patient and explains everything so well.
