I have been going to this facility for nearly 20 years! I love the doctors, and I especially appreciate the individuals who help with picking out glasses! They are truly amazing at what they do! I've never been disappointed with my service received or any of my eyeglasses purchased. Cindy is excellent!! Not only is she super kind and caring, but she is extraordinarily knowledgeable and beyond helpful! She really makes the entire experience painless and fun! Thank you!!!!

The medical assistant was friendly and fast. Dr. Castle was phenomenal. He thoroughly examined my eyes and provided adequate feedback on the health of my eyes. Then, the optician, Cheryl, provided an extraordinary customer experience. She actively listened to my needs, provided an abundance of options and helped me select a pair of glasses with ease and confidence. My visit from start to finish was under an hour. I highly recommend HFH Optimeyes-Sterling Heights without reservations.

I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience at Henry Ford OptimEyes Super Vision Center - Sterling Heights, located at 44987 Schoenherr Road, Sterling Heights, MI 48313. I have been a loyal customer of Henry Ford OptimEyes Who is my wife for the past 18 years. Every two years, I have my eye exam there and purchase new glasses. Until this visit, I trusted their service and professionalism. This time, I paid $240 out of pocket, in addition to what my insurance covered. When I placed my order, I specifically told the employee that I wanted the new lenses to be as thin as the lenses in my current glasses. The employee examined my existing glasses, understood exactly what I wanted, and assured me that the new lenses would be the same thickness. Based on that assurance, I agreed to the order and made the payment. When I picked up my glasses, I was shocked to discover that the lenses were much thicker and significantly heavier than my previous pair. I was then told that I had not paid for the thinner lens option. I explained that I had clearly requested thin lenses when placing the order and relied on the employee’s professional advice. Unfortunately, instead of acknowledging that a mistake or misunderstanding may have occurred, the staff refused to accept any responsibility. What disappointed me most was not just the glasses themselves, but the way my concerns were handled. After 18 years of loyalty, I expected honesty, accountability, and a sincere effort to resolve the issue. Instead, I felt dismissed and treated as though the employee could not possibly have made a mistake. If I had been informed that the lenses would be this thick unless I selected and paid for a premium option, I would never have placed the order. I made my decision based on the employee’s assurance, and I believe customers should be able to trust the advice they receive from trained staff. I am a person with a disability and a limited income, so spending $240 out of pocket is a significant expense. That makes this experience even more disappointing. I sincerely hope Henry Ford OptimEyes reviews this situation, improves communication with customers, and stands behind the advice its employees provide. Sadly, after 18 years as a loyal customer, I have decided that I will not return and cannot recommend this location based on my experience. Adam Jeji

First time here. Check-in was fast and friendly. Sat in the waiting room for a few minutes and was taken back pretty much on time. Pretesting was quick, but they do the air puffs here, so if you don't like that, just something to keep in mind. Once Pretesting was completed, I was taken to an exam room where I waited for over 35 mins. Finally, someone came in and did some testing. This person was very odd and did not communicate well. Could not soeak in complete sentences. They were brand new, it seemed. Did not know how to operate the equipment, which made me really nervous. I had to hold my own eyes open for them to put drops in for dilation. All this is something I have never experienced at any other Optometrist, and I go every year, so, definitely was off-putting and felt unprofessional to me. Then the actual Optometrist came in, and he was great. Very personable and professional, easy to talk to and converse with and ask questions, etc. When my exam was done, he walked me out to an optician. She was great, very friendly and knowledgeable. Got a pair of sunglasses. So the wait and the Optometrist assistant made me not want to come back, but the doctor and optician turned it around for me. I will give them another shot.

I visited OptimEyes SuperVision Center for the first time last month. I was immediately helped by the receptionists with warm smiles and lots of patience! Dr. Castle was awesome: Approachable, funny, and very helpful. He answered all my questions and addressed my concerns. I saw one optician (who was very straightforward and kind) on the day of my vision exam and decided I needed some time to think over buying new frames. I came back and saw a different optician (Karen W.) who was the best! I have never had an optician so good at her job! I got the cutest pair of glasses, after she patiently helped me sort through dozens of pairs for about 1.5 hours, giving me honest feedback on what would look best and suit my face most. I am very happy with my experience and would recommend this place to anyone!

Today was my first time at this place, I’m glad I chose them for my eyes checkup. Everyone there was very nice and helpful. Cindy Davie was the one who helped me with choosing glasses, I love how she gave me time and shared her opinion! she’s very amazing and Friendly! Another staff member who was very professional and helpful was Brian. They made my experience perfect! I highly recommend them for all your eyes checkup needs!
