I would not go again or recommend this store to anyone. My husband got glasses and they were made wrong. They remade them but he can still see better out of his old glasses so he doesn’t wear the new ones very often. I had my glasses made there and had an issue with the lenses. When I took them back they said the coating was pealing and they would have to be remade. I only had them a few months when this started to happen. They told me it was a good thing I had insurance on my glasses or I would have had to pay to fix them - even though it was a manufacturing problem.

Everything thing went well. I appreciate that they gave me the dilation drops for light eyes, since the regular ones keep my eyes dilated for almost 24 hours. Everyone was nice, and efficient. I never felt like I was waiting too long for any part of my exam

Very professional doctors and staffs. My kids love Dr. Heins. She is very patient and kind to kids! The manager Sheila is very responsible! Albeit her busy schedule, she called me back to make sure I am taken care of. She doesn't have to do that. I really appreciate her help!

Exam was great but when I went to get my glasses, they definitely were trying to upsell. I have, with my insurance, an allowance of $250-$350 for frames. When they brought the frames over to me, they were all $375 and up. Mind you these were for readers. I ended up just having them print my prescription to take somewhere else.

Everyone is so helpful and want to make sure your glasses fit well! My family adores Nancy! I was there the other day and it was raining and the gentleman was so nice, he had an umbrella and walked me to my car.

Dr. Hines is the best! She takes time to explain what is going on in the exam, she’s professional AND friendly, a rare combination to find these days. The technician who helped me find my new glasses was patient with as I tried on what seemed to be an extraordinary amount. She was helpful in picking out the perfect frames. The best people work there!

Andrew who delivered my glasses was very patient and took his time to make sure the fit of my glasses was correct and they were comfortable. Nancy D. the optician who assisted me in picking my glasses and ensuring the bifocal was marked correctly is kind, patient, friendly and has tremendous interpersonal skills. A true asset to the OptimEyes in West Bloomfield.

I’ve been going to Henry Ford Optimeyes since my now growth daughter went for her first pair of glasses at the age of 10. My most recent trip to Henry Ford Optimeyes was simply amazing! From the time I walked into the office to the time, I sat down in the waiting room to the time I met with The individual that actually did my prescreening to the time I met with the doctor. Everything was flawless. I highly recommend visiting this location.!

The staff took my concerns seriously and made me feel like my eye health was their top priority. The entire examination process was comfortable, thorough, and highly professional. On time appointments for my wife and I, friendly staff. Good experience with both assistant and optometrist (Jon) who was patient and answered all my questions. Sue was great helping with glasses selection. They had our previous records at hand, as well as our insurance information. It’s a big place but we felt very well cared for.

I’ve picked up glasses from henry ford for years. I love the frames I got, the salespeople that helped me find it, and everyone involved in the eye exam. I found the glasses technichian who helped me yesterday to be rude. I asked her several times to tighten glasses. When I tried to describe how the glasses felt on my face, she appeared to talk down to me and said “don’t use words you don’t understand” which I found to be quite shocking. I ended up just leaving, with glasses still not fitting properly. I’m going to have to stop by another optimeyes to have them properly fixed. I need glasses every day as my prescription has gotten quite high, so I am very picky with how they feel on my face.

Dr. Heins is a superstar. Getting the right script is difficult for me and getting glasses made correctly is so frustrating. - I picked up my new prescription computer glasses and they're perfect. Dr. Heins worked with me over two appointments to get the script just right. Highly recommend.

The office was nice and I was greeted immediately and taken care of in the most wonderful way by the staff and doctor. Just when I thought it couldn't get any better I was paired with Nathanael. He went over my benefits, ask me what I had in mind and I was blown away by all of his selections, colors and shapes that would work for my face. Nathaniel was very honest and professional and made my experience with finding the perfect pair or glasses so easy and stress free. My 2 year old son lost his glasses. I had purchased an insurance policy for the glasses, so I came in person at the store for a replacement. When I walked into the center, I was quickly approached by a friendly lady named Sheila who brought me to the counter to speak with Elina. Elina and Sheila not only took the time to speak with me about my inquiry, but completed my request in a very timely manner while making my son smile and laugh the entire time. I left the store not only with a resolution for replacement glasses, but feeling like the staff here truly cares and treat customers with kindness. I have been using Henry Ford vision clinic for many years, for Cataract surgeries and for my recommended glasses. As usual, I was welcomed with smiles from the receptionist who directed to the waiting room to the end of my treatment. The initial vision tests were perfect followed by the Doctor's examination. Both of them explained what they were doing at every stage. They patiently answered my questions in friendly manner. With the excellent services I have been receiving over the years, I left the clinic during my last visit very happy and satisfied. The new glasses that I just picked up today had damaged frames that were scratched on the left side.. When I returned them today, The OptimEyes representative actually told me she gave me "new" frames. Upon further investigation under a high powered light, I discover that black paint was used to hide the scratches on the left side of the frame. Therefore I will be returning the frames for a refund or an adjustment for this defect. I should not be forced to pay $1000 for new frame and then discover stratches/defects. I am also not interested in a person possibly losing their job over this defect, however my issue needs to be properly addressed.
