Exceptional Healing Experience with a Skilled Chinese Acupuncturist Over the past few weeks I’ve had the pleasure of several sessions with Holistic Vision Care, specifically for Chinese acupuncture. Robert is skilled in acupuncture and knowledgable about holistic health. I began acupuncture to help relieve swelling caused by fluid in bakers cysts in my knees that have caused issues for 15 years! The acupuncture helped move the fluid out of the cysts. I also benefited from prebiotics to improve my gut health at first and then followed other suggestions for immunity building. My experience from June to October 2025 has been 1) relief from swelling and 2) growing muscle strength due to increased mobility in my knees. Dr Robert was able to help me with significant improvement in my night vision. Pictures say a Thousand Words ...all photos taken on Day 3 approx. 5 am, NOON and 8 pm. Day 1: Developed pain above eye, saw PCP. Used OTC saline drops/ warm compresses. Day 2: Visible stye, very painful and vision obscured. Visited PCP AND Robert Underwood on same day. Opted for herbal compress prepared by Robert Underwood, applied 3 thrice / day (vs antibiotic eyedrops due to past allergic reaction). Plus, took oral herbs combined by Robert. All Photos were on Day 3: Eye swollen shut upon waking! Draining/ clearing in process at noon. Virtually healed by bedtime! Vision restored and pain gone! Plus, NO undesireable side effects and affordable! I was referred to Holistic Vision Care / Longmont Accupunture Clinic by therapist about a year ago for accupuncture/ herbs for overall health, sleep and breath work as a 4 time cancer survivor with painful chronic neuropathy / sleep disruption / and auto immune symptoms. I wasn’t really sure what to expect going in to this, but Dr. Robert was incredibly thorough in explaining everything and the process, kind and truly cares about you as a person, and knowledgeable about the human body and what it is capable of. I tried acupuncture for the first time, and it was a completely comfortable and relaxing experience. I honestly do not remember the last time I’ve felt truly relaxed like that. Very much looking forward to exploring it more!

If you're apprehensive about acupuncture, remember this: it's been healing people for centuries. Two traditional medical doctors assured me that acupuncture wouldn't make my vision issue worse.
