Illinois Eye Care Center is a family owned optometry practice with locations in Palatine, Hoffman Estates and Schaumburg. Its optometrists provide full scope primary care, family eye care, contact lens fitting and pediatric eye care, and treat glaucoma, cataracts, macular degeneration, retinal detachment, dry eye, keratoconus and post LASIK/RK care.

Drs. Kent Aide and Charles C. Assell are Co-Directors. Dr. Ann Bartek graduated with honors from the Illinois College of Optometry in 2017, and Dr. Payal Thakkar graduated Cum Laude there. Retinal photography and optical coherence tomography are onsite in Schaumburg and Hoffman Estates.

Had a great experience there today! It was my first exam in over 6 years and I was extremely nervous to go in. The staff are so friendly and welcoming, they made my entire appointment so easy! Thank you for all your help!

My son told me that the eye doctor was nice and amazing but he also said that when he was waiting for his second eye test, he waited almost an hour at the waiting room. He was outraged because he saw the doctor helping other people before him so he complained on how long it took and how he was gonna be late for his friend.

I love this office and Dr. Bartek. She is a caring and lovely professional. She will make sure you are comfortable and that all of your concerns and/or questions are addressed. The front desk staff are very helpful, nice and efficient as well. I have been coming here for 10 years and don’t plan on ever stopping. I’d recommend this office and Dr. to everyone I know.
