staff was very helpful and kind. I had an early morning appointment and they brought a good energy to start off the morning. They also were very transparent and listened to my concerns. They were able to help me find a contact prescription that helped my eyes a lot.

I didn’t particularly feel welcome or cared for throughout the whole experience - everything felt super transactional. This being my first vision appointment in the US as a foreigner just set my expectations low for care here. I asked if I could turn down the extra wellness eye scans because I came in for a simple ask (new lenses) and was hoping to keep the appointment to less than an hour to get back to work, but was told Dr. Janke turned down my request and said she would NOT see me if I didn’t say yes to the extra scans. Ultimately I felt pressured to say yes, considering that I had already set up and waited for the appointment, came all the way out, and was physically in the office. To no one’s surprise, scans came out perfectly normal. I felt really bad and didn’t find any value in the scans, paid an extra 50 for nothing, because I didn’t have or feel any symptoms or problems aside from needing a fresh batch of lenses. Additionally, no one gave me a heads up of what dilating my eyes meant or what it was for - or told me that I wouldn’t be able to work after. Dr. Janke kinda just shrugged her shoulders when I said I couldn’t see and said it’d take roughly an hour for my vision to come back, and I wish she had given me a heads up. I was just upset overall and felt so robbed of my time and money. EDIT: Dr. Janke personally reached to explain their procedures and apologized for the lack of communication/service I received which I appreciate so much!

I've had nothing but great experiences here and eeryone on the team is very helpful! I always appreciate the level of care I receive from Dr.Jahnke. Taylor is always so nice and energized! Richard is very knowledgeable and has a great sense of style. He helped me pick out frames and they are easily my favorite pair of glasses I've ever had!!! I also love that this place is locally owned/operated and you can really tell everyone cares! I highly recommend InVista Optical

Wonderful! I was unable to adjust to bifocals despite years and many tries. My vision was getting really bad and they said I couldn't use contacts or get surgery. They made me progressives that literally changed my life. I thought I would just slowly go blind.

I have been going to inVista Optical now for many years and I still love it just as much as my first day! The downtown location is great for me because it’s walking distance, but don’t let the location intimidate you, there is a parking garage and the staff will validate your ticket. No problem for those who drive. They are friendly, knowledgeable, and ready to assist with eyewear needs. They have new eyewear options every time I go. Fantastic selection, very stylish in my opinion. If bringing your own frames is more your speed they can send them out to get them with your prescription in a reasonable timeframe. They always greet me with smiles. Dr. Jahnke is literally wonderful! If you’re looking for a new eye doctor or you’re ready to leave behind those one hour franchises, this is the place!

I was traveling for work and had an emergency when my glasses broke (accidentally, of course). After visiting two of the big "household name" locations that weren't able to offer a solution, I found InVista. I went in not knowing what to expect, but I was absolutely blown away. The experience was night and day. Samantha, Taylor and others were incredibly caring and immediately jumped into problem solving mode. After determining my glasses were beyond repair, they handled everything: calling my doctor, securing my prescription, and getting me fitted into a fresh pair of contacts in under 20 minutes. They turned a stressful day around completely with their efficiency and professional focus. I’ll certainly be visiting again, as it turns out I’ll be needing a new pair of glasses soon.
