I am deeply disappointed with the results of my eye surgery (multifocal). For nine months now, I have struggled with the inability to see at night; I cannot drive after dark, and daylight bothers me immensely. Similarly, when I am in large stores—such as Costco or other markets where the lighting is intensely fluorescent—it causes me horrible discomfort. I attended my follow-up appointments after the surgery, but each time I went, I was seen by a different surgeon who gave me a different explanation. I returned many times; initially, they claimed it was temporary—a side effect that would last three months. Later, I went again and was told it would take six months. During another visit, they said it could take nine months or a year—or, in a worst-case scenario, it might be permanent. They caused me so much stress that I have stopped going back. During my last visit, they gave me some eye drops that burned my eyes so severely that I decided never to return. It has now been nine months since I lost my life savings—having paid in cash—and I have ended up with my vision in very poor condition. Robert Liu will surely appear to offer his standard apology, just as he does for every comment, but an apology does not restore one's vision to normal. I am voicing this because I would love to sue them—if only to recover the savings I paid out—but I am a Christian, so I will not do so. Nevertheless, it truly is not fair. Please, you ought to inform patients about the potential side effects—specifically, which ones may be temporary and which may be permanent—so that the patient can make an informed decision and accept the risks themselves. This should not be handled the way it was with me, where they started telling me these things *after* the surgery, only to wash their hands of the matter by pointing out that I signed the consent forms. Just as they take the time to have patients sign payment contracts, they should also take the time to verbally inform the patient of the possible consequences. Dr. Phan, what a truly unpleasant experience I had with you; you may be a surgeon, but you certainly lack the proper manners for dealing with people.

I underwent laser vision correction surgery at IQ Laser Vision. My consultation was with Danielle, who explained everything to me in great detail. Doctor Amy performed my surgery, and she did a wonderful job calming my nerves both before and during the procedure, which made me feel less anxious. I had been wanting to do this surgery for years but was always too scared. A friend of mine had the same procedure here and achieved excellent results, which gave me the confidence to finally go through with it. On the day of the surgery, I could see some improvement almost immediately, and by the next day, my recovery was going well. During my follow-up, my vision had already recovered to about 80%, and it continues to improve. I’m incredibly grateful to IQ Laser Vision for helping me take off the glasses I’ve worn for over 20 years. After the surgery, I realized I should have done it sooner. The procedure itself was painless, though I did feel some anxiety. However, the doctor explained each step along the way, which made me feel more relaxed. The entire process took only a few minutes. After resting at home for the night, my vision was noticeably better by the next day.

I had a fantastic experience with IQ laser vision. I got SMILE Laser eye surgery. It was a great experience and my results are phenomenal. My surgery was about 1 month ago. The first two weeks I had some blurriness. But now it's basically all healed and my vision is better than glasses. There may be one small symptom that lights at night are slightly haloed but that may go away over time. I do not have a dry eyes issue. I highly recommend IQ laser vision for their amazing service and professionalism.
