This office is very friendly, warm, and professional. I had an emergency with my contacts that wouldn’t remove for days. They took me immediately and removed my contacts quickly with numbing cream for comfort and eye drops. I will be returning!

I have been going to see Dr. Barr for many years and although I've moved away from the area, I continue to travel to him for my yearly eye appointments. Dr. Barr and his staff are wonderful and care so much about their patients.
I had an emergency eye appointment with him over 15 years ago and not only did he squeeze me into his schedule at lunchtime with no hesitation, he immediately got me an appointment with a retina specialist that day. He was able to catch a serious issue very early that could have cost me my vision. I hear stories from other patients with my eye disorder who didn't have the opportunity to see a talented provider like Dr. Barr and are now legally blind.
And we can't speak about Island Eye Care without mentioning Marianne! She has been with the practice for as long as I have been going there and always has a welcoming, friendly smile when I see her with a positive attitude to match!
