12 years post LASIK surgery and still rocking 20/20 unassisted vision, I feel that this review is long overdue. As someone who was born with far-from-perfect vision (astigmatism in one eye and myopia in the other), I made the decision to ditch my gas perms and glasses back in 2011. Given the shape of the eye/cornea, astigmatism can be challenging to operate on, therefore I went for four (4) different opinions and Dr. Schnipper was the only one who truly inspired confidence. Not only did my eyes correct to a combined 20/15 vision (better than 20/20), but fast-forward to last week when I had a thorough routine checkup and my vision is still as solid as it was 12 years ago! I am forever grateful to Dr. Schnipper and can’t recommend him and his team enough!

This place has a whole new level of disrespect for people and their time. Our appointment was at 9:40 AM. They told us over the phone to make sure we are on time. We got here at 9:32. We didn’t get called to check in till 11:15 and now while writing this review it’s 12:45 and I haven’t been called you for my surgery. The lady at the front desk is rude and no help at all.

The eye surgery I had is amazing. The replacement lenses that took care of my cataracts gave me 20/20 vision at all distances. Dr. Schnipper is a genius. Now the bad part. The staff is terrible. I had gone for a follow up nine months ago them telling me I have nothing owed, then I get a bill two weeks ago with threats of going to collections. Then, on another visit, they billed my former insurance, instead of my new carrier, which I gave them the new card, and now are demanding payment on a bill the submitted to the wrong carrier. I think the billing department is totally incompetent.
