I actually really enjoyed the experience. My son also had an appointment and the staff was very welcoming as we entered. They told us the promotions without being pushy, were very helpful when it came time to place our order for glasses. Exam by the doctor (Schroeder I believe) was great.Very thorough, was not rushed, funny, thorough with his explanations also but not preachy.
