Dr Clark was professional, kind, and efficient. She gave a thorough examination taking extra time to explain process and findings. I greatly appreciated her expertise and will only see her for my vision needs. Very trustworthy!

If I could, I would have her removed from Google and have her credentials taken away for good.
The store staff are extremely shady and just want to make a sale.
I clearly heard Jodi say to my fiancé that she had astigmatism.
My fiancé wanted color lenses and Air Optix Colors don’t come for astigmatism.
The salesman said he’d call the doctor to confirm if she did have astigmatism, and he came back and told us no.
They told us we had to buy a year’s supply of lenses and that they had no samples.
But when I told my fiancé let’s go, they were super quick to offer just one single box alone by itself all of a sudden.
Back to Jodi,
She did not even do a full eye exam for my fiancé. She just took the number from her glasses and wrote them as contacts too.
My girl is having burning in her eyes when she wears them and has blurry vision on one side. Much worse than just being off by 0.25.
She was rushing my fiancé and her negligence could’ve costed my fiancé her vision.
This type of behavior is unprofessional not acceptable.
I regret paying for the contact lens exam in cash and wish I payed by credit card instead.
I will be filing a lawsuit and formal complaint against both the doctor and the store.
The store owners and employees use deceptive business practices and I felt like they were discriminating against us because we are on Medi Cal and that they tried to use unethical sales tactics to manipulate us into making a purchase.
I’ve never experienced this kind of behavior at any other optic center or optometrist.
Hopefully, Jodi will get to retire early since she doesn’t seem interested in actually doing her job.
WARNING:
DO NOT TRUST HER! OR THE STORE NEXT DOOR!!! DO SO AT YOUR OWN RISK!
do not come here if your insurance doesn’t cover a contact lens exam!
in the past i have been to offices where if the contact lenses weren’t covered, they would just charge the difference. dr clark told me they used to do that but not anymore— now if you want a contact lens exam you have to pay the full amount separately, which is $90. it seems like a lot when the insurance does cover the basic exam and they can still bill them for that.
the lenses that were covered by insurance were also not great but that’s to be expected.
those are the only reasons for the lower review! besides that everyone there was so kind and helpful and very responsive and i was able to get an appointment the next day.
thanks 🫶🏻
