I have been seeing Dr. Lamers for a long time ~ 15 years I think. I love him!! He is thorough and listens to me. And super pleasant.

My family has been going to Dr. John Lamers for over 12 years and we love our visits every time. We love him so much we followed him after Shopko Eyecare closed and he moved over to Jensen Eye Associates. Dr. Lamers has shown kindness and care towards my family year after year, and that is why we keep going back. He takes time to answer my many questions and explains things in a way that I can understand. He remembers little things about my kids and is able to conversate with them effortlessly, which makes them feel important to him. He is gentle and clearly knows his stuff. If you're looking for high quality, personal, and thorough eye care, Dr. John Lamers is your guy.

Mason and Haley are always very kind, helpful and professional. Dr. Lamers goes above and beyond and is truly appreciated. Would recommend.

Our whole family has been seeing Doctor for 9 plus years now. Dr.Lamers is the best around. I have disables and he goes above and beyond to make sure I'm well.. Today I had a emergency and him and his assistant got me right in and did the best exam ever.!! He made sure I didn't leave with any concern. I feel very confident because Dr. Lanows his stuff!!

We love Dr. Lamers! Our family just moved to Nampa and my kids were nervous to go to a new eye doctor. Two of my kids have unique vision needs and one has cognitive disabilities. Dr. Lamers was wonderful with everyone. We are so glad we found him!!!

I would trust no one else with my eyes! Years ago I had a torn retina, my previous eye doctor told me nothing was wrong! I started going to Dr. Lamers at shopko and he is the most thorough eye doctor I have been to. He has caught several issues over the years and referred me to specialists who have confirmed! I feel he is one of the best in the area and they have all the latest equipment. Great Dr. great office staff!

Dr. Lamers is by far the most awesome Eye Dr I have ever had. He is very attentive to his patients and goes above and beyond to help. I highly recommend Dr. John Lamers.

Paid 40.00 cash to receptionist for my contacts exam. Now I'm receiving a bill for 40.00 saying that I never paid. I tried to call back and talk to the lady who I spoke with about pulling up camera footage from that day but keep getting put on hold or hung up on. Not professional at all. My exam itself was great but the way I'm being treated over 40.00 is ridiculous. I 100% know I paid the 40.00. I'm in the midst of a cancer diagnosis so being double billed for 40.00 is money I don't have. Pretty upsetting this is how Jensen eye associates is treating their customers.

The first thing that struck me me was how nice and professional Mason at the reception desk was. I Didn’t have to wait long and then Riley came to get me. She greeted me and introduced herself which unfortunately is too uncommon but makes one feel like a human and not just a body part. She is very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Then Dr Lamers came in. He was very personable and very thorough. I really felt like I got an excellent exam and will definitely go back.

I’d highly recommend Dr. Lamers and his team as your go-to for all things eye care. My husband and I have been seeing him for many years, and he always takes the time to chat, answer questions, and offer thoughtful, practical advice. It’s consistently a great experience from start to finish. Highly recommend!
