I was referred to Dr. Primack by a friend who works for the eye division of J&J. I knew I would need cataract surgery after we moved to the Limerick/Royersford area. I asked my former neighbor to refer to me to the TOP cataract surgeon in this area and he suggested Dr. Primack. My first eye was done on July 26th and the second on Aug 21st and my last drops in my right eye was yesterday on September 17th. Vision in eye #1 was 20/20 and eye #2 20/25 on 8/29 so my distance is great. I expect to have 20/20 in eye #2 after a month which is right now. I am still getting used to reading glasses but that will come with time. I started wearing glasses at about age 10 so that gives me 62 years in eyeglasses and now out of them most of the time. Thank you Dr. Primack.

Dr. Primack did an amazing job with my cataract surgery! I have always had poor vision (negative double digits in both eyes), but I was able to get by with multi-focal contacts (+readers) or my bifocal glasses. Last year I started having double vision in my left eye and triple vision in my right. Dr. Primack was very honest with me, acknowledging that I might still need glasses even after my surgery (albeit a much weaker prescription), which was fine with me. However, I was pleased to find out that after the surgery I had perfect distance vision, and only needed to wear +1.0 readers (and that’s for extended reading - I can still see small writing an arm’s length away). I cannot say enough positive things about Dr. Primack. He explained all parts of the process, he was always checking for my comfort during each surgery (I had both eyes done within 2 weeks of each other. A Toric lens in my right eye, and a standard lens in my left with a process that removed the astigmatism in that eye also), and every appointment had minimal “down time” - usually just for my eyes to dilate. I would give Dr. Primack my highest recommendation for anyone considering cataract surgery. I am so thankful for what he did for my eyes.

My experience at Eye Consultants with Dr. Primack is a success story. Coming in not being able to read road signs and needing glasses for reading is all changed now. The investment in multi focal lenses for me was totally worth it and I wish I’d done it a couple years earlier. Dr. Primack spent all the time I needed to get comfortable with the vision calculation for each eye. The actual cataract surgery at Physicians Care Surgery Center was much easier than I expected. Through the entire process I couldn’t be more pleased with Dr. Primack and all the supporting staff.
