I regret to say that I would like to provide a negative review for this office once again. While the doctor is courteous, I have encountered issues with the front desk staff and the office manager at this location, which have left me dissatisfied. My family visited the office on 11/13 with the hope of obtaining a replacement lens for my daughter before our flight scheduled for 11/15. During our visit, the front desk informed us about the lens fee and an expedite fee. They mentioned that the expedite fee would be refunded if the lens did not arrive on 11/15 as promised. Unfortunately, when the lens did not arrive on the specified date, we inquired about the expedite fee refund. To our disappointment, the staff completely denied ever discussing the possibility of a refund. Through communicating with the insurance company, we found out that the eye center did not follow the contractual agreement with my insurance company, they charged an incorrect lens fee. When we visit a doctor's office, we naturally expect high-quality and professional service. Regrettably, this location did not meet those expectations in our experience. They care about money more than anything else. I firmly believe that this office may not take the initiative to treat customers professionally unless external action is taken. With that in mind, I intend to bring this matter to the attention of the University of Michigan patient relations department and the state licensing office. If more individuals voice their concerns about Kellogg Eye Center, it may lead to necessary action and improved training from upper management.

Our son needed a replacement nighttime contact. It was incredibly frustrating to get a replacement ordered from this facility. I called numerous times to just place an order but they would never get back to me. My wife started calling and she had a similar experience. She then went in to talk with someone and they gave her the run around again but she refused to leave until she spoke with someone of authority. We've decided to ditch this group and plan to go elsewhere. Ironically, the doctors were great there but everyone we dealt with was subpar by a lot.

My previous eye doctor was amazing. He retired & now I’m just waiting to see my new eye doctor. Have never had a problem with any rude staff. They’ve always been helpful. & Waiting in line for a bit to be checked in is because staff has to make sure everything is correct for your appointment. It’s not as simple as just saying your name & being checked in. They need your name, date of birth, & need to make sure your information is still correct. I hear many patients actually update their info while checking in. Waiting 10 minutes isn’t a big deal… we’re called “patients” for a reason. Be patient. They’re trying to help us.
