Ky. Eye institute is the absolute best in all of ky. I recently switched from Simpson optical and I must say I was pleasantly surprised I was treated more kindly , patient and all around more personally and genuinely cared for. All the staff are wonderful and special thanks to Joanie for getting my medicine approved today! I cannot say enough good things but that they are simply the best. Thank you ..

I had my first appointment at the Lexington office yesterday, and from the moment I walked in until the moment I left, I felt extremely well cared for by everyone involved. The receptionist at the front desk was welcoming and kind, and Chelsea was absolutely wonderful. She completed my exam, answered every question I had with patience and grace, and made me feel completely comfortable the entire time. Sometimes you worry your questions may sound silly, but she never made me feel that way once. She was professional, caring, and very thorough. After my exam, I waited only a few minutes before Dr. Evans personally came to get me. What an incredible doctor. He immediately made me feel relaxed and comfortable, almost like I had known him for years. He was personable, knowledgeable, and took his time with me in a way that felt genuine and reassuring. The entire experience was exceptional from beginning to end. Excellent care, excellent staff, and a very welcoming environment. I would absolutely recommend Kentucky Eye Institute to friends and family.

Dr David Blandford is great. Facility and waiting areas are clean, pleasant and have ample space. Parking can be a challenge at certain times. Clinical Staff are extremely kind and listen to my vision issues. They help me articulate my condition so they can understand and document what I'm trying to convey. The Check-In lady needs to relax, be less aggressive and do her research in her records before becoming challenging maybe she could get some hints in customer relations from the lady that used to check people in, because Mackenzie was great and is missed. Check-Out lady was pleasant, efficient and accommodating to my scheduling needs. Overall great place, still 5 stars. I think the check-in lady issue will solve itself one way or the other.
