I always go to Korrect Optical on Dixie Highway. I was sad to hear that they are moving to downtown. Now I have to either drive to downtown, out in the east end or go to another optical store that is closer.
Everyone there was very professional and personal. They were very nice and made you feel comfortable. Thank you Korrect Optical.

Currently using UL students to perform eye examinations at the downtown location. When I inquired about this I was told this location was a learning facility and I may want to go somewhere else.

The staff here are knowledgeable and friendly. The office is comfortable, but hard to get into going south on Dixie Hwy at peak traffic. The range of frame styles is good and affordable. I highly urge anyone to come visit and judge for yourself. You too may like what you experience.

Not sure if their names , but there are two females working there (one in her 20’s abs one in her 30’s to early 40’s) that need to be let go ASAP! Both times I went there they were exceptionally rude without being provoked. I’m not sure how they think they can treat people this way, but this wouldn’t be the time to lose a job, so they better shape up or ship out!

When I call to schedule an appt. I provided my name and insurance info. The day of my appointment the lady at the front desk asked for all my info again. She couldn’t locate my insurance info so she end up calling my carrier after 20 minutes waiting, I told her that I can come back another day. She did apologized and told me that she will call me back and reschedule. When I left I call my insurance they answered in less than two minutes and confirmed that this place was part of my network. As of now almost 3 weeks later I have not receive a call to reschedule.

2019 was my first time with this company and I should have known not to purchase from them after how the lady was at the Dixie location, so I went to the DuPont store instead. 2020 comes and everything closed down and any problem I had could not be resolved. We moved and the second pair was packed up and I just found them. I brought two pairs of glasses, one transitional lens and one plain. The trans pair treatment peeled off. And now that I have the second pair they are two small. Yes it's my fault that I left the store with glasses that don't fit but the atmosphere was cold. For the associate to allow me to leave with glasses to small for my face just isn't good business. I really dont believe this would have happened if I had been other than African-American. IJS

Service was quick and efficient, although fees were tacked on at the end to gouge you before you get out the door. Walmart normally does my vision, and they will resume my business next time. I managed to pay $52 for a $10 (after insurance) eye exam.

I’ve been a patient here for a couple of years. Friendly staff. Easy to get an appointment. Today I was having an emergency. I was on my way to officiate a funeral for a family and one of my contacts fell out while I was driving. Not only could I not find it, but I also wasn’t going to be able to read my notes for the service.
I stopped by and explained my emergency to the staff and they were able to help me in a pinch so I could be on time and able to help a grieving family. The actions and kindness of the staff was priceless considering what was at stake. Highly recommend sending them your business, but most importantly trusting them with your eye care needs.

I had a pair of progressive lenses made through the VA. I actually paid for this garbage! These are the worst pair of glasses I have ever owned. Someone made these glasses with their feet. They are flimsy, loose and I don't think it is even my correct prescription.

While the Doctor was great and the lady who check me in. The other lady who process the glass a wanted was rude and seemed upset that i did not buy what she wanted me to get. She then acted like i need to leave and never come back. I try to pass this off as her having a bad day. However, I had to bring my glass back in to get lens fix and she was even more rude and look down on me for asking that they fix the issue with the coating not staying on right.

I had my first eye exam at Korrect Optical on Dixie. I normally go somewhere else, and then I would bring my prescription there to buy my glasses . The doctor was excellent! I had a very thorough exam, he even looked behind my eyes to see the overall health of them. The ladies in front were very helpful with me picking out my glasses and all of them were really very nice. Thank you for a great experience in getting my glasses. I highly recommend Korrect Optical at the Dixie location.

The attention to detail by Dr. Summers, the front desk and all in the optical center is the best I've seen. Thanks so much for taking care of me.

This place is awesome! The eye doctor is VERY PROFESSIONAL AND THOROUGH. one of the best exams I have ever had . Other staff are nice as pie and helpful. Very quick in and out with appointment. I had a very bad experience on Outer Loop at Walmart Optical in December and was actually afraid to try again. So glad I did. You can trust this place , the best!

The doctor was great but I had a bad experience with Tiffany. I am not sure what her title is but she was very rude. I needed to pick up my trial contacts and finish my appointment with the doctor. I didn't get a call saying they were in. When I went to get them she said I had to have an appointment even though I told her what the doctor said. She told me if they worked for me there was no reason to come back. She is not a doctor.

I get my glasses through the VA. For mine, the VA provides the frames and I pay a small amount for the Tri-Focal lenses, Anti-glare and Carbon Fiber lenses. The frames and lenses are furnished through Korrect Optical. So I take them there when the glasses come to me in the mail. This office of the Korrect Optical is located in the shopping center where the Drivers Licence Bureau and the new Kroger is on Dixie. This Korrect Optical has always been very friendly and always ready to fit my glasses without any questions. They are super nice people and if I did not go through the VA I would go to them to buy my glasses.

Yesterday 8/12/19 my disabled father went in to try and get a new pair of glasses, the older lady who was “helping” him was very rude about telling him that they were about to close, soon as he walked in the door she yelled they were closed at him, they weren’t closed yet . She still helped him but not really, she took one look at his prescription and said he would have to pay $75 dollars for an eye exam (which he usually pays $45 for there every couple of years) it was 2 weeks expired. They wanted $175 dollars for an older model metal frame of glasses! He told me she was still being very rude today when he went back today and tried to get everything done. He ended up going somewhere better that granted his prescription and even got a better deal! Please take this and do good with it, hire people who aren’t rude.

I sure miss Korrect Optical! Since they've moved downtown, I was unable to get an appointment with the UofL facility that does their exams and had to go somewhere else this year.
The new to me place that did my exam was super, I felt the glasses may have been a little pricey but I had just enjoyed Korrect's service more, kind of felt like visiting with friends when we went.
So, we're (myself and two grandsons) are gonna miss you guys!
