I had a great experience yesterday with Dr. Kosnoski and the front desk staff. I had something stuck on my eye-literally stuck I tried everything to get it out. Probably a piece of plaster or drywall since we are renovating our house (always wear your PPE folks). Never having experienced this before I walked in simply to ask what to do, or thought I’d need to make an appointment to come back. They were able to squeeze me in for a medical service. After some numbing drops and a some tool later- Dr. Kosnoski got the item off my eye and told me it was good I came in cause I wouldn’t have gotten it off myself. He was very friendly and I’m glad I chose this office for my eye problems.

I recently had the unfortunate experience of dealing with Kosnoski Eye Care – Renton, and I must say that it was an incredibly disappointing and frustrating ordeal. From the moment I scheduled my appointment, I encountered nothing but incompetence and a complete lack of empathy from the staff.
First and foremost, the company canceled my appointment not once, but twice, all because I was a mere 10 minutes late. The first cancellation occurred a couple of years ago when I was a new patient at their clinic. Apparently, being a new patient warranted immediate cancellation without any consideration for the circumstances.
Then, just recently, I encountered the same issue when I arrived five minutes late due to an unforeseen traffic accident on the local roads. Despite my best efforts to make it to the appointment on time, which even involved running a couple of red lights, I was met with a receptionist named Sierra, who exhibited an appalling level of rudeness and condescension towards me. Instead of showing understanding or attempting to accommodate the situation, Sierra spoke down to me and made me feel completely belittled for the slight delay.
What baffles me the most is the lack of professionalism and care displayed by the clinic. What happened to the doctor who was originally scheduled to see me? How could they not make any arrangements to ensure my appointment proceeded smoothly, especially considering I was just a few minutes late? It seems that their priorities lie solely in adhering to a strict schedule, even at the cost of their patients' well-being and satisfaction.
As a paying customer, I had genuine concerns about the clinic's commitment to serving its clients. It is disheartening to witness a business that prioritizes profit over patient care. Instead of fostering a welcoming and compassionate environment, Kosnoski Eye Care – Renton simply reschedules appointments without any regard for the inconvenience caused to their patients.
In conclusion, my experience with Kosnoski Eye Care – Renton was nothing short of a nightmare. Their repeated cancellations, lack of flexibility, and the disrespectful behavior of their receptionist have left me questioning their professionalism and dedication to their patients. I strongly advise anyone seeking eye care services to explore alternative options that prioritize customer satisfaction and provide a more compassionate approach to healthcare.

I brought my developmentally disabled son to get his eyes checked. I had put it off for years because he is very fearful of any doctor. Everyone in the office from the front desk to the tech to Dr. Hontz were extremely patient with him. He participated way better than I thought he would. We will definitely be going back.
