Dr Goyal is the best

Had an appointment today it doesn’t make sense how long I was sitting in the exam room after I had all my test done I had not ate that morning my appointment was at 8:30 I was so hungry I have high blood pressure my head was hurting I just left Gas too expensive for me to keep running back-and-forth out here I stay in Roseville. This is Southfield on 12 mile telegraph.

I know a good doctor when I see one because I am a doctor and it's very easy for me to tell the good ones from the bad ones. I have total confidence in Dr. Sosne as my ophthalmologist. I wouldn't keep going to him if I had any doubts in his ability. I have seen Dr. Sosne four times over the past six years and he has always been professional, meticulous, and compassionate. Fortunately, I don't have any serious eye problems but I'm always reassured that my eyes have been thoroughly checked for problems before I get discharged. The only reason I rated them 4 stars is because you typically have to wait 70 minutes before you get to see Dr. Sosne.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Giles for 20 years , and he is the most thorough Doctor around . He saved my eye sight , and for that I am so grateful . The staff is wonderful too , making sure you get your appointments scheduled and are taking care of accordingly .

Dr. Gabriel Sosne performed my cataract surgery after visiting 3 other doctors. The other 3 acted too busy to answer all my questions. Dr. Sosne discussed the process, clarified and answered questions and help me decide on a multi-focus lens. I am enjoying fantastic results. I can read, drive, ride my bicycle, do everything, all without the hassle of wearing glasses. If you required cataract surgery, I highly recommend Dr. Sosne.

To do a survey you have to go to this office in Southfield, than go to another hospital, follow up to another clinic in Detroit, come back to this clinic for second follow up. Means all over Michigan. The doctor was the rudest I have seen. I will never want to see a doctor like her leaving you in surgery room, (TO THINK ABOUT). Please check before you choose the doctor to trust your eyes. Do not rush and take the first doc is available bc always it’s a reason why they’re open. The biggest mistake I did coding Dr.Mi operation my eye and confusing me with the decisions for the lenses after a cataract surgery. I learn at the second eye surgery that the lens I have in it wasn’t the one I wanted, and as a result she didn’t want to gave me the right lens for the second eye.

Excellent customer starting from reception desk to doctor's exam room. I like the text message reminders a few days before the appt! Keeps me aware of my appointments! Love my eye doctor William Lucas Jr. Excellent patient relationships. No rush during my visit. He listens to his patients. His voice is soft and soothing. He goes the extra mile prior to eye surgery to reassure family members in waiting room. "That's my truth and I am sticking to it!"

The Wait Time at this location is Horrible (3 hrs)! I finally took my 102 year old mother to get her eyes examined after delaying it for over a year due to covid. The Waiting Room was over crowded and we had to wait in the hallway!

Dr Giles is a fantastic physician. He corrected a macular issue my daughter had when she was very little. She’s a teen ager now and has had no issues since that surgery. He is an extremely kind man and I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my daughter’s young eyes. He always was respectful to both my wife and I and more importantly our daughter. Dr Giles always provided exceptional communication and care when testing and treating her. The Kresge Eye Institute is very disorganised and hard to navigate. Their website is outdated and difficult to get around and find anything. The reception staff aren’t rude but they also aren’t very helpful. Please don’t let this detract from Dr Giles or how he treats patients. Sadly his skills and attention to patients haven’t trickled down to some of the staff.

Way too long wait with no updating

Most disorganized doctor's office or practice that I have ever dealt with. I've spent over two weeks trying to get somebody to contact me to get my daughter's medical history forwarded to a new doctor because these people obviously are not on top of their game. We have an appointment with a new doctor today and yet to have her medical files sent over there for them to review. How disappointing. Also it was recommended that my daughter coming every 3 months for a checkup to monitor changes in her eyes and the last two appointments that we have they had canceled and they failed to contact me and let me know that they cancel the appointment. If you're looking for top service and attention to details and organization, don't go here.

Not only was the receptionist polite and caring hit so was the Doctor Giles . I was close to going blind and with his help I’m doing very well today. Highly recommended.

Dr. Giles is a Great Ophthalmology he has been treating me for some years now. To tell you the truth he knows his job I will recomend him to anyone who needs it. He takes his time with his patients and explains everything thats going on.. I trust him! Thank you so much!

As much as I love my doctor and believe in his abilities, the visits are very stressful and maddening..the wait time to see Dr Sosne can be as long as an hour or more. If you complain, the support staff and receptionists are all rude and not helpful or informative. I have had to walk out twice in the last year because of not being able to see the doctor after an hour of waiting. I’ll give it one more try..then I’m gone for good..there are more doctors out there just as good ! 😞

Excellent customer service. Dr Hassan Tokko is very professional and friendly doctor. He is a good listener. My first appointment with him went very good. All staff were very professional and pleasant as well. I highly recommend

Dr. Sosne is a wonderful doctor. He is very personable and answers any questions I have. He spends time with his patients and never seems rushed. I trust his judgement completely, very competent.

Dr. Geiles did my surgery on both my eyes to correct my strabismus. It has been 30 years and my eyes are still doing well. I would go back to him in a heart beat if I lived closer. I would recommend him to everyone.

Dr Sosne has corrected my right eye to a vision I didn’t know could be so clear. He is an excellent surgeon and he will be correcting my left eye in the near future.

Wonderful Experience with Dr. Giles. I started to take my six year old son here over a year ago for help with amblyopia. Dr. Giles and his staff are very professional, helpful, and I feel like the treatment for my son has created invaluable improvement.
