Terrible if you’re looking for a seamless experience or quality customer service. This place was recommended by a friend and I took an appointment one week in advance. On the day of the appointment I had an emergency and was running 15min late.
Rather than rushing and going for no reason I called to apologize and confirm that was fine. I was told it wasn’t an issue.
I rushed, showed up shortly after, put money in the parking meter to be told at the door that no, in fact, 15min is too late.
Needless to say they lost my business. Very poor customer service and did not even apologize...
I highly recommend Dr. Cecilia Perez in DTLA. Great experience there: they had availability (not within a week), were very professional, competent and have affordable rates.

Weird vibes from Dr. Kurata. He talked down towards me when I was just politely asking normal follow-up questions as to why he was weakening my contact prescription. Additionally, the contact lens fitting fee was something I did not anticipate as I have never been charged one at my previous eye doctors. He then condescendingly talked down on my previous doctors for not doing things the same way he does. I kind of went here out of convenience but should have probably thought twice.

Wow! What a wonderful experience. I've worn glasses since age 7 an now in my late 50's I've finally found the perfect location. Not only is arranging an appointment a snap (on the Internet) but the office is quite charming and they provide free snacks and excellent coffee ;-) I found the staff to be pleasant, professional and knowledgeable. Last, but in no way least, I was extremely impressed with Dr. She provided an excellent exam, answer all my questions and made suggestion based on my exam not on the hope of a sale. They've made a customer for life.
