Stay away from La Haye Total Eye Care. You have been warned. They will never get another penny from me, my family, and our friends. (well they left years ago, i was the hold out). They are trying me blind me. Glaucoma test (last appointment was July 2022 new date is end of Jan 2024) Like others said, wait time is extreme. (I do not even want to talk about the 4 hour wait time and their Air condition was broken at the time, of course widows do not open to let air in) Not only that, my followup appointment was 6 months away, well they moved it another 6 months, well guess what, they need to reschedule again (their eye doctor will not be there) and now next appointment date is over 9 months away. (last appointment was July 2022 new date is end of Jan 2024). Might have glaucoma, good news is caught it very very early. Appointments were set to 6 month visits to check if any pressure build up. Can not wait almost 2 years to see if it is getting worse, by then it maybe to late. Lets talk about the rudeness of staff when looking for new frames for glasses. While i was in there, I asked 2 questions, of course no answers, then the girl just gets up from her desk, looks at me, then turns off the lights and walks out the door/opening (no door). It was close to quieting time, but at least say something. Lets talk about insurance issue. They did not accept my insurance, asked which one they do accept. At 3x the price, I switched to that private insurance company, Well on next appointment, time use the insurance, well guess what, they no longer accept that insurance. This cost me like $600 every visit for horrible service. I am here looking for any good eye care providers I can switch to.

RUDE….that about sums up this office…with the exception of 1 or 2. Front desk staff clearly do not like their job. Surgery scheduler went through so much info in a VERY short period of time and got the pre-surgery instructions wrong (checked the wrong boxes). Woman who comes to take you back to surgery was rude. She actually fussed at my elderly mother for not taking her heart meds prior to getting there when the person who called her the day before told her NOT to (she said just bring them with you in the morning). Luckily she acted like that out of my ear shot. For the money you pay this office you would think you would get better customer service. Clearly that is a mistaken expectation. To top it off, the lady who comes to get you for surgery, first reviews your chart and medical history at a desk that is directly in front of where people are sitting and have a direct sight line to your medical records and personal information as she slowly holds up each page to review it. The desk is one you sit at so it is plenty low enough there are patients waiting just in the other side (like they are close enough to all your information that they could touch it). Guess they aren’t worried about HIPPA.

Be prepared to wait over a month for a contact fitting or for them to even call and schedule one. 2 weeks had passed and they didn't even bother to tell me my contacts were on back order. You may need to call and leave a few voicemails as well to get this information. Never had this issue with other clinics as they would fit me right then and there with the eye exam. Absolutely ridiculous.
