Dr. Nahl and the staff there were very friendly and professional before during and after surgery which made me feel like they actually cared about my personal results, comfort, and experience. Additionally Dr. Nahl quickly completed follow up paperwork I required for work on her own time when she was not obligated to which saved me time and money. Let me be very clear - do not go to La Jolla Lasik. My appointment started off well, until I met Dr. Nahl. She was very rude and did not care about taking the time to answer any of my questions. She ran some tests and decided I should go for PRK, despite my corneal thickness being well within the suitable Lasik tier. At the time I had not done as much research and went ahead and scheduled the procedure. I paid a $500 deposit which no other institution asks for. The patient coordinator was very pushy and instead of answering my questions he wanted to talk about his reckless over indulgence in Europe 2 days after he had his own Lasik procedure. The entire office felt like a pyramid scheme. I had a few other consultations and went with a different place, successfully having Lasik done. The operation was flawless. I contacted La Jolla Lasik to try and discuss my $500 deposit, and after no less than 16 calls over multiple weeks I gave up trying. No one would answer my call, or the front desk clerk would put me on hold until the call dropped. I eventually had to file a dispute through my credit card provider. I am THANKFUL I didn't make the disastrous mistake of having my procedure here. Please do yourself a favor and go with someone you can trust your vision to.

Dr. Nahl and her team are amazing! Everyone is so helpful and friendly. Dr. Nahl is the sweetest person I have ever met and she is very knowledgeable and thorough with all the questions and concerns I had with Lasik. I felt really comfortable and safe with her during the surgery and I am so happy with the result. I can't believe I can see everything perfectly clear just after one day of my Lasik! It almost feels magical!!! Thank you for the life-changing experience!!!
