Hi my name is Victoria Hale and I'm a current patient at Lackey Clinic. I would like to give you a little bit of information on myself. I too was a part of the Healthcare industry MAA, CNA/PCA and had the opportunity to work for Riverside In Home Healthcare. Helping others to be successful in living the best quality of life and care that you can be proud of. Now I'm at the point of my health was felling and I was not able to care for those who were dependent upon me. I had a family member to assist me in completing the application online in October 2019 and by December of 2019 I had my first doctor appointment. Upon my arrival for my appointment in December that morning they was ending a meeting with the medical staff and they went into a prayer to start the day right away and I knew I was where I needed to be. I was unknowingly in such poor health that I didn't know where to start but Margaret Johnson (FNP) was my first doctor appointment and in spite of my condition, confusion just in need of care on every level she was there and cared for me as if I was her only patient, she listened to me and knew just where to start. I trust Margaret Johnson advice at all times because she goes into the decision with me give me the information that's needed at the time. Dr. Jennifer Morrison for my mental health, Dr Robertson for my mobility (arms/knees), Dr. Amanda Paull for my visual health, and even other programs. Dental care saved my teeth. I have learned some very valuable information from the professionals that services those who is or was really in need and I am one of those people. From the beautiful professional ladies on the front desk to my Ms Deanna who makes sure I got my appointment straight before leaving I am very blessed to have a wonderful place like Lackey Clinic to help myself and others in our time to medical needs and I would love to thank you from the bottom of my heart and thank the Lord for placing you in my life when it was very much-needed. P.S. The Williamsburg Farmer's Market is a great program and has helped me with eating better, fresh fruits and vegetables, Keeping my A1C down and my weight loss is gradually becoming more noticeable. So this place saved my life. I would like to say I take pretty good care of myself. Unfortunately when I first visited them I was uninsured and had not needed a doctor in 30 years. I was in so much pain from a fall from a ladder that I landed on my feet but days later could not stand up. I mentioned to the person on the phone that I heal quickly from anything bone related and from praying about it I was sure that it was a blood clot. I scheduled to go somewhere else on that Thursday. The person from Lackey clinic called me back,mind you my paperwork was not yet approved and told me if you think it is a blood clot we need you to come in right now.this was a Tuesday the same day a visit to Riverside confirmed a blood clot. The clinic asked me to come back up to get blood thinner medication and I finally had some relief from the pain. The ultrasound nurse the next day on wendsday tells me she is glad I was seen when I got seen because it could have been life threatening. I'm tearing up as I write this. Thank you from the top of my heart. May God bless each and every soul ever associated with this clinic. May He protect and anoint every hand that labors here! I believe that as a child if the word of God was on the walls of the office I would not have been frightened to visit. I thank Him that I am still a child of God and I no longer have to be frightened and I get to start my life over and even though I take care of my health i can still get doctors visits.
