Months go by and nothing whatsoever. They still cannot figure out how to do their job. Several times I conference call with Blue, who confirms 100% coverage. Still nothing, Mary can not comprehend the insurance billing, and finally resorts to completing a paper, oh God no, claim form and submitting it to Blue. Blue sends them a check, which they write void on the check and mailed it back saying no patient balance due. I call Blue again, sends them another check, which frustrated the doctor signs the back and he mails to me. I go back in today for the balance owed me between what the insurance paid and what I paid. Get a nice sit down while he incorrectly attempts to explain to me that he can charge anything he pleases and is not in any way bound to the agreed price contracted by the insurance company and refused to refund the balance owed to me and I should be appreciative of the discount he gave me. This from the upstanding "Christian" optometrist in the community, with a Jesus fish on his sign on the front of the building, the Bibles and tracts all over the office. He should read Proverbs 28:8-15 As far as the actual exam part, he was neither the best nor the worst optometrist by which I have been examined. Edit: after raising a fuss over my money I did receive a check from the doctor, almost a year later, reimbursing me the difference between what he wants to charge and what his contact says he can charge.

Great Customer service, been getting my eyes checked for the last 30 years and been to many different eye doctors but this guy is by far the best with fair pricing and great customer service. He will go out of his way to make sure your happy. I drive 32 miles to get my eyes checked from this guy.

For me the 2 biggest factors in maintaining an on going relationship with a service provider is Honesty & Integrity (truth telling & doing what they promise). Having known Doctor Ron for 20+ years, I know that the above two qualities are ingrained in who he is. I’m always greeted with a smile from his engaging office staff and never get that “annoying look” that many office personnel give you for interrupting their work or daydreaming. As far as insurance goes, who has not had problems with insurance companies? We all have including service providers who have those hassles every day. As far as pricing goes, I don’t know too much since I have insurance which helps to mitigate costs a bit, but what I do know and prefaced in my first sentence of this review is because of Doctor Ron’s H & I, I know my cost is never inflated but fair always. I highly recommend Dr. LaCroix (pronounced: La Quawe some) professional service.
