Today was the worst day of my life, we were a new patient, my 3-year-old boy with autism and I, pregnant, they never informed us how long their protocol was, I was there from 10:20 to 3:50 just wasting time , spending most of it outside I arrived in uber I had to wait all the time on the street, for wye in the end even seeing my desperate child without pampers already for that hour and others and they didn't even attend us like that 😔 too unfair for a baby, no I recommend the place, and one still asks the kindest thing and they only tell you that they will repeat the whole process if you leave, or that your insurance will send you to Los Angeles or San Diego!?? seriously those are answers... very poorly organized

It’s amazing to me that there are so many bad reviews for this office. We have been to this office four or five times over jan/feb ‘23. Nobody likes long waits, I get that. Nobody likes sitting in their cars instead of the waiting room, I get that, too. Even if they had the waiting room open, they wouldn’t have the space to hold all the patients. And it’s post covid. Everything has changed a little. I have not met one rude staff member. We have seen 3 different optometrists and they were all super nice and efficient. Dr DeCastro has been my daughters ophthalmologist and I feel like he is efficient and thorough in finding the best solution for his patient. He didn’t sugarcoat that he wasn’t 100% positive of a successful cataract surgery as there was trauma to my daughter’s eye. He did an awesome job and my daughter has recovered most of the vision in her injured eye. We would choose Dr DeCastro every time if we had to do it over again.

It makes me upset that the lobby is still closed. This office makes children wait in the car with their parent before letting them sit inside between each area of the clinic. This week is the hottest part of the year. How is it fair that children have to go from inside to outside several times for their appointments since the lobby is closed? I called yesterday and was told that lobby was indeed open. You know the staff inside is nice and cool with the air conditioning running. But forget about the children. Oh yeah don’t forget that mask.🙄
