I would like to formally and sincerely express my gratitude for the amazing work Dr. Legarreta and his staff are doing. I strongly dislike going to any doctor’s offices due to bad past experiences, but Dr. Legarreta and his staff are always excellent from start to finish. Dr. Legarreta is patient, and always listens to what I have to say. He always explains everything to me in a very clear manner. He is also kind and friendly. All of the staff are great – they are helpful, patient and have even helped me with my insurance. I have been loyal to this practice for the last few years, but this week I had a very scary medical emergency and now I will forever sing their praises. I was extremely nervous for my appointment, but everyone there ensured that I got in quickly, had a smooth appointment (they literally spend 3 hours with me trying to figure out what was happening), and followed up multiple times. Dr. Legeretta even called himself TWICE to check up on my progress over the weekend. I was referred over by a family friend and can see why. It’s rare to find a doctor that combines such great bedside manners and care for a patient as a person with outstanding quality of medical care. Once again, please extend my deepest gratitude to Dr. Legarreta, and his staff at the Legeretta Eye Center!

I would definitely recommend Dr. John for any needed cataract surgery. Not only have my cataracts been corrected, so has my nearsightedness. I can now see clearly for the first time since I was 6 years old. The staff here is extremely caring and compassionate. Thanks for a wonderful experience.

New to the area and decided to go pick Legarreta Eye Center for a simple irritable stye on my eye, that’s been on there for over a year. The front desk staff is very professional and nice. First visit I had was a scheduled eye appointment, got there early. Took me in the back to run some basic tests. Then they bring you to a second waiting room where I waited about an hour and a half to be seen. The Dr. looked at my eye for about 5 minutes and told me to come back another time and if it wasn’t gone he’d conduct surgery on the eyelid. Came back for my second visit, was placed in the waiting room for over an hour. Got seen by the doctor for 5 mins again - told to come back in a month and he’ll look at it. Just seemed like he didn’t feel like doing it and rushing me out. Will be switching my eye doctor after this. Highly recommend not to go here because appointments are not to there concern.
