Doctor santarlas is amazing. He took his time took great care of my eye needs. The ladies at the front are super friendly. Lily took care of me at the end and she expalined all details on my prescription. Pricing is great too.

The woman doctor who picked 5 frames out of hundreds and told me to pick from those only, would not allow me to add reflective coating to my glasses unless I paid for another pair. The only reason I went in was for glasses to drive at night and needed reflective coating. They claimed insurance wouldn't allow it. I offered to pay extra, but they said no unless I bought another pair. I contacted my insurance and they said this was not true. So, I am getting glasses I can not use because I refused to buy into the scam they are running. I was told my glasses would take 3-6 months unless I bought a second pair. If I paid for a second pair, then magically they would be ready in 2 weeks. The exam is also an up-sell of $39, even if insurance offers a free comprehensive exam. Lastly, they did not give my my prescription when I left, which is required by law or a receipt of what I ordered. I had to go back and ask for both. They gave me the prescription, but never gave me a receipt for what I ordered and never emailed it like they promised. Stay away from this place. Unethical and scammy. This place also seems to operate under several names. It was not listed as Lemon Grove Optometry on my insurance website.

I asked the front desk if I can ask the doctor a question and they told me thry will get back to me and they never did. I called them more than once and even the staff is not professional and rude, I have no idea why they work at a doctors office when they do not like to help people. Peole do not go to doctors because they are bored and have nothing to do, they go to see the doctor because they have to. The doctors are good, but their office staff is horrable.
