Staff members were professional and transparent. The clinical staff was very detail oriented and explained all the preparatory screenings. Dr. Paul Sforza was very friendly, good listener, knowledgeable counselor, treated me with respect.

Dr. Leon Rafailov is a great eye surgeon—kind, meticulous, and genuinely caring. He always takes the time to thoroughly check my eyes and ensure I feel comfortable and informed. During my left eye treatment, his surgical precision and attention to detail were outstanding, resulting in excellent outcomes. He explained every step clearly and approached the procedure with confidence and compassion, which gave me complete trust in his care. The staff members at SightMD in Little Neck are exceptional. Greg consistently demonstrates kindness, attentiveness, and genuine care, making every interaction comfortable and smooth. Shelly, the general manager, goes above and beyond, handling last-minute paperwork with efficiency, professionalism, and a pleasant, knowledgeable demeanor. Together, they truly embody the saying “teamwork makes the dream work.” Their dedication, expertise, and positive attitudes create an exceptional and seamless experience for everyone they assist. Their work is thorough and precise, leaving no detail overlooked, and they consistently find solutions with creativity and efficiency. Every interaction with them feels effortless and reassuring, reflecting their unmatched commitment to patient care.

It was a pleasure seeing Dr. Sforza. He has a great bedside manner and thoroughly answers all questions. The staff is also very friendly, especially the gentleman at the front desk. He has a great personality and is a pleasure to deal with!!

Dr Sforza is wonderful but everything else about my visit was abhorrent. I had a 10:00 AM appointment and when I arrived at 9:40 the waiting room was packed. I then waited on a line for 20 minutes to check in. The waiting room was almost an hour. It seems to me that there was an awful lot of double and triple bookings.I was also asked for a co-payment of $20. I told them this was a procedure visit not an ov (office visit) but the person behind the desk wouldn’t hear of it. I paid the $20 plus a 3% credit card fee and I will look to get the money refunded to me. Things sure went a lot smoother before Sight MD took over this practice.

Dr. Sforza very good. Only problem is if I don’t have first thing in the morning appointment, I’m lucky if I only have to wait an hour to see him. Too many patients scheduled too close together

Dr. Kumar was very thorough and he went over my eye exams in detail. I felt very comfortable with him and his wonderful office staff. They were efficient, gentle and understanding. The office was well run and immaculate. The wait time was quick which was an added bonus.

Long wait. Had to leave and come back another day because there were 10 patients waiting to see the doctor. Would've been a two hour wait. Second try, doctor finally saw me one hour after my appointment then left for 20 minutes to wait for my eyes to dilate. Dilating eyes does not take that long. Who has time for this?

The wait time to see the doctor was a bit long but totally worth it! Dr. Sforza is a kind, knowledgeable, experienced doctor! He answered all my questions and helped ease my anxiety about my glaucoma referral. He explained everything in an easy to understand manner. Looking forward to my next appointment. It was my first time at SightMD. Everything was good from the reception areas to the technician that do all the text before seeing the doctor was all great. The staff was very polite and professionalism was perfect. The doctor was excellent explain all the eyes test that was done for me before seeing him He explain all the result and what have to be done to correct what seemed a little abnormal. I am happy with the service and will stay with this place and the doctor for a long time. I will recommend this place to everyone that I know and anyone that need a good eye place to go

Dr. Sforza is the best and SightMD overall is very organized and streamlined. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for eye care. Dr. Sforza explains everything in detail, is personable, and answers all your questions. My entire family goes here. My dad had his cataract surgery with Dr. Sforza and he did a great job for both eyes. From the front desk, to the techs, to the Dr, this place is how medical care should be!

I always have good experience since I am going there.I had an emergency and Greg was very very helpful in making sure I get to see Dr Sforza.The entire staff is very professional and courteous.I would recommend Sight MD to anyone I know that needs optical care.

Because the online text review Sightmd offers is grossly inadequate I am writing here. First, I gave three stars to balance between the wonderful doctors and the horrible Sightmd company My family has used the Little Neck practice since before Sightmd took over. The doctors-including Dr Sforza who we use now- have been terrific. Dr. Sforza makes you feel as if you are his only patient. However, whereas before Sightmd took over the general service in Little Neck was great, with Sightmd the service is terrible. On several occasions the wait was over an hour before even the first stage of the visit and the entire visit was two hours. THAT NEVER HAPPENED BEFORE. Sightmd has turned a great and efficient practice into a marathon. It is so bad that we are contemplating leaving even though Dr Sforza is wonderful and caring. It seems evident to me that Sightmd has become a meat market, caring more about shoveling in as many patients as possible and ignoring prompt care. Again, I give Dr. Sforza a FIVE but Sightmd a one.

He took the time to explain every step with patience and genuine care, which helped ease any worries and built complete trust in his abilities.

Took me 25 minutes on line to see receptionist who had a terrible attitude and didn’t want to listen that I didn’t have a co pay if it was a medical exam of the eyes. I have been going for many years but not anymore. The least he could have …
