Brought my 83 yo grandmother to an appt scheduled for 2:15. We arrived at 1:40. She sat in the waiting room for almost 2 hours. After being put in a room she sat for an additional hour before being helped. This place knowingly over books. The front desk is disrespectful and not helpful. While this is not the 1st time this has happened it is certainly the worst. This is unacceptable and a practice that clearly cares more about money and numbers than their patients. We will be looking to go elsewhere.

Very interesting experience. As most reviewers noted, they tend to overbook and my wait was 45 minutes. After filling out the paperwork and answering the usual suite of questions for a first time visitor, EVERY question asked by the first technician I met with had been asked and answered via the paperwork. I was then placed in a second waiting room. A quick stay there (5 minutes) and the Dr. took me to the exam room. I was scheduled to see Dr. Matthew McMenemy, but the Dr. McMenemy I saw was Madison. Not a big deal... they are both doctors... here's the interesting part. She talked to me as if I were an infant!?! Some weird voice that I'm pretty sure wouldn't get used with her medical team or at the dinner table. I just turned 70 and I'm wondering if this is something that might become the norm? Not sure if I should point it out to the next person that does it... or just stick my thumb in my mouth to convey the message. :-)

I only had to wait about 10 minutes but I decided that I rather get the cataracts operation closer to when I really need it . Plus you were wrong about my wife having macular degeneration according to a second opinion ...Sorry !
