The Richard E. Hoover Low Vision Rehabilitation Services helps people with low vision and blindness. Staff work with visually impaired individuals to find devices and techniques that meet their personal goals. Low vision cannot be corrected by conventional eyeglasses, contact lenses or surgery.

Janet Sunness, a low vision and retina specialist, serves as medical director. Michelle Bianchi is an occupational therapist and certified low vision therapist who joined in November 2012 and earned a graduate certificate in low vision occupational therapy.
