Not trustworthy. I went to eye routine and doctor send a different code to insurance over charging my visit. I highly recommend Dr. Villani. I've gone to him for years for regular eye care then more recently I had two surgeries to remove cataracts. Both times I had a very good experience. He's an excellent doctor who inspires trust and confidence. He is also a warm and caring human being. An added plus is that the office is very well run. I only have the best things to say about my opthamologist, Dr. Villani. He is not only highly thought of in his field but also caring, helpful, listens, and explains to me in layman terms. Dr. Villani specializes in glaucoma, cataracts, diabetic, surgery, and eye glasses. He has been servicing the Miami Beach area for about 25 years. His staff are very efficient and patient-oriented in helping you understand the process. They are very helpful whenever you need to call them with a concern. I have never had to wait more than 10 minutes in the waiting room, which I greatly appreciate. He respects his patients' time. I can't say this about other doctors that I have visited. There is free parking in the back of the building and also street parking.

He performed two cataract surgeries on me, and I am astounded at the significant improvement in my vision. I love dr. Villani. I have had two recent eye problems that I needed emergency care. I got in same day for both and was given the drops I needed in office. He is so kind and knowledgeable. His staff is top tier also down to the assistants and the receptionist. I will never go to another eye doctor.

Believe the great reviews. I was looking for a new ophthalmologist who could also take care of my cataracts. I chose Dr Villani because of the excellent online reviews and thumbs up from my endocrinologist. His office staff is friendly and buttoned up. I’ve never waited long. And Dr Villani is terrific. Very professional. Warm and friendly with all his patients. He knows his stuff and gladly answers my questions. The cataract surgery w Dr Villani was easy and painless. His directions for aftercare very clear. He recommended the Vivity Extended Depth of Focus lens, and this has turned out to be the best gift I’ve ever given myself. I now have perfect vision far, medium and closeup. No more glasses. And most importantly, I can drive at night safely again. Dr. Villani took excellent care of me on Nov 10 but the aftercare did not go as smoothly. My eyes were dilated, examined, and pictures were taken of my eyes. The nasal spray sample sent home with me worked, but getting a prescription and a prior authorization is very difficult. After more than 2 weeks, I still do not have the medicine needed. Now the office voice mail is full. My pharmacy and insurance say the paperwork is in the doctor's hands. I also wish the clinic had something to mitigate the effects of light on my eyes when I went outside after the appointment. The sun is not a friend to dilated pupils. Yikes!

Last week, I had my regular follow-up visit with Dr. Villani. I really appreciate him as a medical professional because he listens to me, gives me advice, and goes over the optical tests. He is kind and has a good sense of humor. He shows interest in his patients. The staff is always friendly, helpful, and efficient. The office is nicely decorated, well played out, and very clean. Parking can be found in the back of the building for free or street parking. There is wheelchair accessible parking also. I highly recommend Dr. Villani, for your Ophthamology needs.

Can anyone help me understand this? About a year ago, I saw Dr. Villani. he was very nice and seemed very competent.He told me my cataracts were so large he couldn’t examine my eyes. Since then, several ophthalmologists have told me I had very small cataracts and didn’t need surgery. Who is right? How can I know? Any ideas?
