⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Best decision ever! Had my LASIK at Luxor Eye Institute and woke up the next day seeing 20/20. The staff was amazing, the procedure was quick and painless, and everyone made me feel totally comfortable. Kassandra scheduled surgery and was amazing. Super clean, professional, and friendly. Highly recommend! Thank you Dr. Kouchouk and staff @ Luxor Eye! 👁️❤️

Horrible and worse on scheduling! And it happened to my parents 3 times! Even worse is when they referred my mom to have her second eye surgery at millennial surgical center. We got there 6:00 a.m drove 45 minutes early just to be on time, according to mellenial staff, no scheduled for today. My mom’s eye surgery was cancelled loxur eye surgery coordinator contacted them To let them know it’s canceled, but did not contact us. According to mellenial Staff, it’s insurance problems. But this is the second eye surgery. First eye surgery happened on Second week of May, then scheduled other eye today, July 7th. The same insurance was used. Seems like they never followed up on insurance confirmation for the second surgery. Not only that. Two times, it happened that they scheduled eye appointments for My mom and dad in two different schedule. When we get there they said it’s canceled again and no one had contacted us!!! Me and my husband wasted our hours of work to drive my parents into different scheduled and when we get there it’s canceled? When u ask receptionist, seems like no concerns at all no apologies and just said, will schedule again..

Dr. Kouchouk has a state of the art facility! I was impressed from the moment I walked in & was greeted by Mariams wonderful smile, she quickly took all of my information an had me take a seat in the lobby. I have been to other well established eye institutes & have not ever felt this welcomed or comfortable. From the moment I was greeted to the time I left I knew I was in good hands. In the past it seemed like there was only a few advanced eye care options if any in town, now y'all have choices. Now keep in mind, the Luxor eye care Institute is brand new so they don't have a great selection of magazines in the lobby to read while you wait however that is okay because I would not had had time to read any since I was brought back very quickly by the optical lab technician Kevin. He explained to me what each test was, I felt very comfortable with these procedures, afterwards he led me to one of the many extremely clean examination rooms and then returned rather quickly with Dr Kouchouk for a more intense examination of my eyes. If you need advance eye health care this is the place to be. You will be treated as a human being not a number on a chart! Their compassion and empathy for what y'all are going through and their genuine desire to help you have a better quality of life is apparent in all that they do. Please do your eyes a favor and go in and get an examine, they will thank you for it later. My hope is that this review will help you make a wise and informed decision when it comes to your eye care health. God bless, Pastor Michael Rodriguez

This would easily be a 5 Star review if the ridiculously long wait times to be seen were somehow fixed. There seems to be plenty of support staff but only the one doctor. Fix that and this office would be perfect.

My mother was seen by Dr. Amr Kouchouk in January and was scheduled for cataract surgery in April. She obtained medical clearance in March, which was faxed to Luxor Eye Institute as instructed. On the Friday prior to her scheduled surgery, I called to confirm the procedure time. I was routed to a call center and informed that a message would be sent to the surgery coordinator to return my call. I did not receive a response. On the Monday morning of the scheduled surgery, I called again and spoke with Monse, who advised that confirmations were not yet available but that she would call me back. She also instructed me to follow up if I had not heard back by 4:45 PM. I called again at 2:00 PM and received the same response. At 4:00 PM, I was told the surgery coordinator was unavailable but would return my call. After still not receiving any follow-up, I called again at 4:45 PM and was finally able to speak with the surgery coordinator, Cassandra. At that time, I was informed that my mother was not on the surgery schedule. I was further advised that no authorization had been obtained from her insurance, and that the office staff had left early the previous Friday. Cassandra stated that she was unsure what had occurred and offered to reschedule the procedure. This situation is extremely concerning. My mother had been scheduled for surgery for three months, and despite submitting the required medical clearance, no authorization was ever requested from her insurance. This represents a significant breakdown in administrative processes. I requested to speak with a manager, and was connected again with Monse. She acknowledged that she had not verified the surgery schedule. This experience has been both frustrating and stressful. Coordinating care for my parents requires careful planning, and this lack of communication and follow-through has caused unnecessary disruption not only for me and my brother, but also for my mother, who was fully prepared for her procedure

Recent changes have made this a good experience. The new surgery scheduler is very kind and efficient. I was very impressed with her and she's been a great improvement. The wait times are getting better which also is a great improvement. The physician is personable and did a great job on my cataract surgery. I would recommend this office.

My goodness, this place is incredible. I was referred by America’s best to address an issue that I’ve been having for a very long time and it’s surprising that of all this time I’ve Spent going to the eye doctors every three months. No one has been able to figure out what was wrong. You would think that me screaming. Every time they put drops into my eyes would make these doctors think. Hey, something is wrong. If you keep screaming every time we put drops in instead of telling a patient. These drops shouldn’t burn. You should be fine. Clearly, I wasn’t fine after going through so many bottles of Systane lubricating Eyedrops the issue was found. After seeing Doctor Amr Kouchouk With Luxor eye Institute, I have never felt better. It only took one visit one exam for him to identify the issue that I was having with my eyes and I’ve already undergone five treatments of forma-i lumecca. Now that I’ve been diagnosed with dry eye syndrome, I feel relief, knowing that we can put a name to my issue. My eyes have never felt better. With my lupus diagnosis, all kinds of complications can arise so I’ve learned to expect they expected. I guess you could say with an autoimmune disease anything can happen, which makes me very cautious and with that diagnosis I’ve paid better attention to my body so I know when something‘s wrong and having a Doctor Who takes my issues as seriously, as I do, my own, brings me a sense of relief, knowing that there are some doctors out there who cares. I’ve never had such great customer service and such patient care. All the staff and the doctor treat all their patients as if they were family. They treat them with fairness and kindness. They don’t beat around the bush. They lay it down direct they tell you what you need to hear not what you want to hear. They tell you the truth and not all doctors are like that and you can tell that this is the office that puts their patients first and not cost they give you the chance to weigh your options. They let you know what options you have and they let you make the decision for yourself instead of pushing you and pressuring you to make that decision and that’s what I value most. They gave me the chance to make a decision in regards to my own Medical needs. Now I am scheduled for a three month follow up instead of a weekly follow up, and I can definitely say with certainty, but I will definitely be coming back here. My eyes are a part of me. They are a part of who I am and they help me see the life I have before me and I would like to give thanks to Doctor Amr Kouchouk For forgiving me, my eyes back I am very grateful. So if you’re looking for a doctor, who cares about your vision as much as you do, this is definitely the place to come.

Dr Kouchouk is genuinely concerned about patient outcomes. He takes the time at each visit to thoroughly address every concern. I came to him for cataract surgery and I was also treated for dry eye. I can now see 20/20 without glasses. What an amazing experience.
