Husband had lasik & all was well initially. His vision changed very shortly after, within their “warranty” period and he was made to believe it was a “normal change” so they they didn’t have to repeat his lasik at no cost! Despite multiple attempts to have them redo the lasik as it seems to have failed … they did everything in their power to not redo the procedure we paid over $7k for! He was back to wearing glasses within 8mos of the procedure! We went to Mann Eye for their reputation, but clearly it’s a farse!! Buyer beware!

Deborah, Alyssa and Kim were super helpful and knowledgeable. We were made comfortable and given all the information needed to be confident in our choice to get the whole family seeing best without glasses! Thank you all for all you do!! Must mention Mallory from Sun City too! She really got this whole family plan started and is seeing us through all of it. She is fantastic!!

I had initially scheduled a LASIK surgery with Mann Eye after a brief consultation expressing that I was a great candidate and, seeking a second opinion, visited Dell Lasers. The contrast in the professionalism and patient care between the two establishments was striking. The staff at Dell Lasers, particularly the surgeon I spoke to, demonstrated a high level of confidence in their assessment that I am not a suitable candidate for LASIK. They took the time to thoroughly explain the reasons behind their determination, patiently addressing all my concerns and questions. Their clarity and kindness were evident, making me feel reassured about the decision-making process. In an attempt to gain clarification and reconcile the conflicting opinions, I revisited Mann Eye to speak with Dr. Cessac. Unfortunately, the encounter was far from satisfactory. Dr. Cessac was condescending, refused to answer my questions, and spoke rapidly, making it difficult for me to comprehend the technical terms she used. Instead of providing the necessary information, she belittled her peers in the industry and essentially dismissed my concerns with a discouraging, "don't do this surgery if you are having questions." Feeling appalled by the lack of transparency and assistance, I decided to cancel my surgery with Mann Eye. As I was leaving, the assistant, in contrast to Dr. Cessac, took the time to answer my questions and explained the differences in laser technology between Mann Eye and Dell Lasers. It's disheartening to have had such a negative experience, especially considering Mann Eye was recommended to me by friends. I believe that when it comes to a procedure as significant as LASIK, patients deserve clear communication and the opportunity to understand the technology involved. Regrettably, Dr. Cessac's dismissive attitude has left me with no choice but to seek care elsewhere, where my concerns are acknowledged and addressed. I hope this review serves as constructive feedback for Mann Eye to reconsider their approach to patient communication and ensure a more positive experience for future patients.
