THEY DO NOT ACCEPT MILITARY INSURANCE!!! 9/21/23. My daughter in law visiting from out of state called and asked if they accepted her military insurance. They said yes and booked her an appointment. My wife took her to the appointment. When they arrived they took her in and did every eye exam in the building. After they were done told her that they DO NOT ACCEPT her military insurance. They gave her a bill of $400!!! Dr. Manrique said if she doesn’t pay he would call the police. Had to come to a payment agreement. THIS IS A SCAM THEY DO HERE TO MILITARY PERSONNEL! THEY DO NOT PROUDLY SUPPORT THE MILITARY MEN AND WOMEN! How difficult is it to say WE DO NOT ACCEPT MILITARY INSURANCE! If you are an active military/ veteran avoid this place. Staff is clearly not knowledgeable. Staff will say anything to get you in and bill you.

I had my lasik years ago. After 8 years I can say best decision ever. The recovery time was very minimal and his staff makes sure to follow up and answer any questions/concerns. Dr. Manrique and his staff are the best in the RGV. Will be recommending to my family and friends!

Yes. I am the son of the mother and sister in law incident I just wanna say your administration is one of the WORST liars ever. If you guys accept military insurance. ACCEPT IT! I hope y’all have a good day. Knowing you have a very unsuccessful business because you lie to your customers and your administration lies to customers as well. Please do better.
