I’m an optician at LensCrafters. I referred my granddaughter to Dr. Bray. I have referred many pediatric patients to Dr. Bray. Not anymore. Not without the following warning: Independence Family Eye Care hard pressured my daughter-in-law into buying my granddaughter’s first pair of glasses for over $600 for a 5 year old! You can get your prescription from Dr. Bray and take it somewhere else that’s cheaper. They sold her a UV coating on top of a transition lens, which already blocks UV light. They sold her stuff she didn’t need. It seems like they took advantage of someone who didn’t know anything about buying glasses. I’m very disappointed this happened.

Should be zero stars, but Google doesn't allow it. After Dr. Cibis retired, Dr. Bray took over. I was told I had macular degeneration and all kinds of other issues. Got new glasses and my vision was far worse. Tried to go back to get my glasses checked, but got nothing but hassles. Went to a better eye doctor and discovered that everything Dr. Bray said was wrong. No macular degeneration, and my glasses were completely wrong for my vision issues. If you like your eye sight, and want to see, go see a properly educated and talented doctor. Avoid this place like the plague.
