My experience was excellent. Dr. Farid literally has given me second sight with the cataract surgeries she performed for me. I found her extremely knowledgeable, friendly, responsive to my emails, and took the time to explain my different options. The eye examination I had prior to the work up for surgery was also very thorough. The nurses pre and post-op were professional and attentive. My only suggestion is this: go to the Gavin Herbert Eye Center on UCI campus to see her. The appointments I had in Orange were far more difficult with long waits, parking issues, etc.

The entire process of Dr. Farid's service ending with the cataract surgeries was EXEMPLARY!!
The fact that she left me with something just short of x-ray vision is only part of my review.
Dr. Farid was exceptionally professional, personable, competent, thorough, energetic and knowledgeable.
Oh, and the doctor's terrific personality was a bonus!!

Dr. Farid is the best. I had my cataract surgery with her along with new trifocal lenses that is rather new on the market. My vision was 20/20 the next day after the operation without any pains or discomfort.
It has been 4 months since my operation and it feels like a miracle. I am living without glasses for reading, driving and sitting in front of my computer. I can't thank her enough..
