We were referred here by our pediatrician back in early December 2023 and weren't able to get on the schedule until late June 2024. Day of the appointment comes around and we get notified a few hours before our appointment that the doctor is sick and our appointment needs to be cancelled/rescheduled but they can't get us in until late October. That's 4 months from our original appointment and 10.5 months from when we originally scheduled that appointment. Ridiculous that it is that long of a wait when THEY are the ones who had to cancel the appointment. Go somewhere else if you want to actually see a doctor.

We drove from Yakima for an 8 AM appointment to find that there were delays due to a system outage. The front office staff worked diligently to have us seen. Once we were brought back I was nervous since my two year-old son with sensory issues had become restless and began to cry. Ms. Perla was amazing with him! She spoke to him with patience, kindness and care. She found a way to connect with him to help him through the initial exam. I’ve never seen my son react so well to a medical professional that way he did with her. Dr. Cheung was also patient and kind even when my son was kicking and screaming throughout the exam. He explained things thoroughly to us. This is an excellent team and the customer service we received even when dealing with issues outside of your control was exemplary. Thank you!

There is construction going on and parking is a nightmare you cant even park or walk around the campus to get where you need to..I went to the wrong building so the front desk of that building called for me to let them know I was there and coming around and the lady told her if I didnt get there in 5min they couldn't see my son and the kady at the front desk was telling me i would have to wait for the shuttle and then take the shuttle and have the shuttle drive me around the block to the other side of the building and then take the shuttle back to where i was at to my car that was already parked down the way.mind you this apt was set last year when he had an eye injury..then I called to reschedule and the lady told me actually we cant reschedule your son he will have to be put on a waiting list..The Dr is nice and was great with my kiddo but none of the front office ladies even make you feel like the want to attempt to try and help..who knows how long this waiting list is because she couldn't even tell me that..

Parking, at the moment, is a hassle so give yourself plenty of time. Aside from that, this practice is great. Dr. Deem is fantastic with young children, he knows all the tricks to get curious minds to snap to attention and he's very informative so you leave understanding exactly what's going on. He's the best around

This is the 4th ophthalmologist we have seen for my daughter's eye condition. They have been the most thorough by far. Jessica, the tech, was kind, patient, and on top of it. Dr. Teo really took the time to examine my daughter. Parking was a bit tricky so give yourself ample time to figure it out. Waiting time wasn't too bad either.

They waited till 10 MINUTES before my 2-year-old son's appointment as we were already pulling in the parking lot to call and cancel. I even asked if he could see ANY other doctor there and they said no. We live all the way in Olympia and apparently this place was the closest to us that takes my son's insurance however I guess I will just be paying for a new eye doctor because my husband just drove us here at 7:00 a.m. through an hour worth of traffic just to then drop us off(he had to get to work) so that we could spend the next 3 hours getting home on buses in the pouring rain.... So I have now wasted all morning with a screaming baby for absolutely no reason..... If you value your time at all or communication with your doctor don't go here

We just had our second bad experience at this location. The first time was three years ago and again today. We will be looking for a better facility who is actually considerate of people's time.

There was a bit of a wait to get my sons scheduled about 4 months but this is what happens when you are referred by pediatricians and have state insurance. Everyone in this office was wonderful, so friendly warm and welcoming. They were so sweet to my sons dr cheung was great with explaining things to me and was so natural with my boys. The nurses / staff were so friendly and patient i definitely recommend.

Terrible service, I'll never come back. My son had his pediatrician here, but I took him out because I don't like the way they treat you. Based on a doctor's referral, I was sent here. After waiting five months for an appointment, I came, and while I was outside waiting my turn, they called to cancel. I had to walk 30 minutes to get here because there's no parking, and they just canceled and told me to call back later to make another appointment. Please hire people and doctors who actually want to work.

Was referred here from Seattle children’s, called after referral was sent, they did not have it, said to call back. Waited about a month, called back to check on status to get an appointment setup. They still did not have the referral. Has to be faxed or submitted electronically. I cannot imagine how they do not have it when I received a copy of the referral myself. Not even going to waste my time trying to get in after reading the reviews and talking to them.

My son had an eye appointment at 3. Due to traffic and our toddler having a hard time, we arrived at 3:15. We were told we arrived too late and would not be allowed to go to our appointment. Infuriatingly, we took my other son the week before and they made us wait 40 minutes before he was seen. We are really disappointed a children's clinic can't be more understanding. I can understand cutting off an appointment past a certain point, but we were only 15 minutes late. Absolutely ridiculous.

One star is generous for the growing number of negative reviews for this location. I just received a call canceling my child's appointment for 8am tomorrow morning due to doctor illness. This is an appointment made as a follow-up to our last appointment 6 months ago. This follow-up was requested by the doctor in order to monitor a worsening condition-a condition that continues to deteriorate. If I wait for my child to be seen by this office, and the physician my child has established care with, we will have to wait until November as that is their earliest appointment. This is unacceptable and clearly part of the reason many people seek care across all specializations for their children outside of Mary Bridge (also probably why Seattle Children's chooses to advertise in the neighborhoods surrounding Mary Bridge). I would like to maintain continuity in my child's care, however, with their worsening eye health I feel that it is detrimental to find a more professional and accessible option. This is clearly a trend with this corner of the Mary Bridge/MultiCare world. I encourage others to seek eye care elsewhere if you have the option-which I realize many do not.
